Deception for Fun and Profit, Monday, Period 2
Bond had set set up a class room with the tables dragged out to the walls and the chairs set up in a circle in the empty space. As the students arrived he directed them to take a seat.
"Good morning," he said, once they'd all arrived. "I'm Professor Bond, and this is Deception for Fun and Profit. Now, assuming there were no paperwork errors, you're all in this class because for whatever reason you have an interest in fooling people, which means for our first class we're going to do the traditional introductions a bit differently.
"Normally this is the part were I'd ask you for your names, classes, and various other questions, usually why you're taking the class, or what experience you have related to the subject at hand. No, I'm still going to do that, but you're going to lie, then the rest of the class and I will attempt to catch you out. Though given everyone but me will be lying, I expect you to do it subtly, so as not to open yourself to counter-accusations."
He pointed at a random student. "You first. Name, class, what you did over the summer, and how you ended up in this class."

Re: Introductions - DFP [01]
"Britain, yeah. What? Don't I seem the type for it?"
Re: Introductions - DFP [01]
"I certainly didn't mean to imply that," he said. "But you certainly don't seemed to have enjoyed it, given the glowing description."
Re: Introductions - DFP [01]
"Can't say I fit in there." They camp that he totally went to.
Re: Introductions - DFP [01]
Re: Introductions - DFP [01]
This camp was going to end up being run by the Queen herself if Eggsy kept this up.
Re: Introductions - DFP [01]
"Didn't fit in because of the posh shits, right?"
Re: Introductions - DFP [01]
"Nah. Too much chin for'em."
Re: Introductions - DFP [01]
"I can certainly see why they'd be jealous."
Re: Introductions - DFP [01]
"You go to those kind of camps, bruv?"

Re: Introductions - DFP [01]
Which sounds like a lie, but okay.
Re: Introductions - DFP [01]
"Hard bastards, those."
Re: Introductions - DFP [01]
"Yeah?" Yes, he was a little smug that his dad was one then.
Re: Introductions - DFP [01]
"Most of the naval branch of the special forces come from the marines." Not all, Bond being a case in point, but most.
Re: Introductions - DFP [01]
"Was thinkin' about joining up after school," Eggsy replied.
Re: Introductions - DFP [01]
"There are worse choices a person could make."
Re: Introductions - DFP [01]
Eggsy shrugged. "Get me outta living in the same fucking neighborhood my whole life."
Re: Introductions - DFP [01]
"Get out there, see the world, that kind of thing."
Re: Introductions - DFP [01]
"Sure as hell ain't for queen and country."
