Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II
There were tables and chairs set up all around the lawn. Some were in the sun, where folks could work on their tan while they ate, and some were in the shade where folks could stay cool and non-crispy.
All of the tables had some blue and gold glitter scattered across them, because there was always enough to go around. This school certainly was blesesed in all the right ways.
[OCD is up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

Because maybe that teasing would hide the way she was kind of staring through her eyelashes.
And maybe her slight flush would just be attributed to the heat of the day and not the fact that Raven had convinced her to dress for the occasion, too.
Re: General Mingling [Fall 2015]
And she didn't even have a color preference for it the way Raven did!
"Did you just decide to wear a suit today? Or did my devious roommate catch you, too?"

She glanced up at Kathy, then her eyes jerked away again with a blush.
"And, um, yeah, it's a really nice color, isn't it?" That was a safe topic, after all, right?
Re: General Mingling [Fall 2015]
"And yes. You should absolutely wear that shade more often."
Re: General Mingling [Fall 2015]
"And maybe I will," she allowed, sounding only a little bit awkward. "Also? I wasn't totally kidding about the sun block. I was in a hurry and didn't grab any when I changed."

But first she needed to do everything she could reach. Ringo took the bottle and quickly smeared the sunblock on her shoulders, arms, face, stomach, and chest.
"I mean, getting burned wouldn't be the worst thing, but," she made a face, "it looks so gross if you start peeling."
Re: General Mingling [Fall 2015]
"It's also not exactly the best thing, either," Kathy said sternly, reaching for the bottle to squeeze sunblock into her hands. Only a barbarian squeezed it directly on the other person. "Especially since it's so easily prevented."
Would Kathy cheerfully launch into a spiel about the dangers of skin cancer at the drop of a hat? Yes. Yes she would.
Re: General Mingling [Fall 2015]
Ringo laughed at Kathy's tone. "And it ruins your complexion," she pointed out. "Which kind of messes up the whole point of doing this, right?"
Re: General Mingling [Fall 2015]
"The important thing is that we're not going to let it happen at all," Kathy said, because who didn't need a friend-mom in their lives. "There will be reapplying and everything."

"Hai, senpai."
