Sex Cultures: 6th Period

Grissom waits until his students have taken their seats, and then rolls in a TV unit. He starts up a video from this collection.

"This does involve your upcoming project. I just thought we'd start a little lower on the food chain."

Homework (over break) : Research and prepare a short presentation on the mating rituals of one species of animal besides human (or dominant alien lifeform, as the case may be) from the place you chose last class. However, you may work with your partner, if you'd like, and present just one together, as your time over Break allows.

Asia: Izzie and Alanna
America/Oh Canada: Cally and Anders
South America: Phoebe and Shep
Space: Bel Cole Bel and Allie
Europe: Pip and Paige
Africa: Sawyer and Han


[OOC: Three of you missed last class, so I assigned you groups. I know Han mun is AFK, and Phoebe in game would probably turn Sawyer into a toad, so she's with Shep. So Han (when you're back) and Sawyer, you get Africa. Sadly, there are no Vikings there. :(

You can play out working with your partner or not as time allows over Spring Break, and if you want to, or come up with something on your own next Tuesday. Either is fine!]

Shep flops down in the desk next to Phoebe. "Oh no, not you again!" he says with a grin. "Are we going to have toucan and panther drama this time?" He's smiling as he says it and puts an arm around her shoulder and squeezes conveying, he hopes, that he's totally teasing.

Bel tensed into omg-possssive-demon-she's-mine-hands-off! mode for a brief moment, then relaxed and grinned at Shep. "No hands-on demonstrations, okay?" he joked.

Shep pulled back and held his hands where Bel-Cole-whoever-he-was-today could see them clearly. "I'm just being friendly. Because we both know Lana would totally kick my ass if I tried anything more."

He stops and thinks for a second...

"Dude... I'm so not modeling how panthers procreate... that would be... just... ew." He smiles at Bel, showing that he's deliberately twisting his words to lighten the mood.

Shep signs in. Twince... he's still trying to figure out how he missed class on Tuesday. He thinks perhaps there was a time/space distortion... very localized of course.

Paige looks up and notices Pip, "erm how about we do whatever this is over email or something? I'm going home on Sunday I think, or maybe Mexico, I've not really decided."

I have no idea how the heck I missed class on Tuesday... did it get posted late or something? I'm usually much more anal about classes than that... is there anything I need to do to make it up? I'm totally cool with my group/assignment and totally chagrinned that I somehow missed class!

No worries! You're good. If you want to check in with Phoebe up thread, you're totally welcome to (just handwave Grissom assigning you) and otherwise, whatever basically :) My brain has been deep-fried all week anyway.
