Sex Cultures: 6th Period

Grissom waits until his students have taken their seats, and then rolls in a TV unit. He starts up a video from this collection.

"This does involve your upcoming project. I just thought we'd start a little lower on the food chain."

Homework (over break) : Research and prepare a short presentation on the mating rituals of one species of animal besides human (or dominant alien lifeform, as the case may be) from the place you chose last class. However, you may work with your partner, if you'd like, and present just one together, as your time over Break allows.

Asia: Izzie and Alanna
America/Oh Canada: Cally and Anders
South America: Phoebe and Shep
Space: Bel Cole Bel and Allie
Europe: Pip and Paige
Africa: Sawyer and Han


[OOC: Three of you missed last class, so I assigned you groups. I know Han mun is AFK, and Phoebe in game would probably turn Sawyer into a toad, so she's with Shep. So Han (when you're back) and Sawyer, you get Africa. Sadly, there are no Vikings there. :(

You can play out working with your partner or not as time allows over Spring Break, and if you want to, or come up with something on your own next Tuesday. Either is fine!]

Shep lets his head fall until his skull impacts loudly with the desk. "Thank you very much for that mental image..." He sits up and looks at Phoebe, "because now I'm seeing a panther, with feathered wings, regular panther legs that end in talons... and a huge ass multi-colored snout. And I think it's trying to sell me Froot-Loops" He *headdesks* again.

Phoebe gapes at him for a minute and the covers her mouth with both hands as she tries to suppress the giggles.

"You... did not just... say that..." she gasps between the escaping giggles.

"I blame you," Shep countered. "You were the one putting them together." Though he had to say, he'd rather see her giggling uncontrollably instead of hysterical any day!

"You brought them up!" she protested through laughter. "I was pondering something innocent like Jaguar mating habits... and you - *giggle* - bring up the cross-species mating dramas."

"Yes, because thinking of two big sleak cats doing it is so innocent!" Shep says making it sound as lurid as humanly possible. "It could have been worse. It could have been... say... half porcupine and half kangaroo. I mean, how much would that have to suck for the mother kangaroo? Not to mention anyone it bounced up to."
