Relax and Recharge, Monday Period Three

Given the pleasant weather, Bond had his class meet him out on the grounds.

"Welcome," he said, once something resembling the right number of students had appeared. "This is Relax and Recharge, and like the name implies, this is going to be a fairly low-key class, covering various ways to de-stress. For example, lazing about on the grass in the sun and talking with each other." Spoiler, that was today's activity.

"Now, as is traditional, part of our first class is going to be given over to introductions. Name, age, and one of your favourite ways to relax. Then, once that's out of the way, I'd like you to find a partner, preferably someone you haven't talked to before today, and find something to talk about."

"I'm Daphne Blake, soon to be sixteen and I'm going to be a Junior in the Fall." She thought about it for a second. "A hot tub is one of my favorite ways to relax. Or surfing."

"Welcome, Daphne," Bond said, even as he mentally rejected the idea of letting a bunch of teenagers into a hot tub together. "Surfing definitely has its advantages."

"My name is Edward Kenway, I'm seventeen, and I enjoy the odd nap," Edward said, grinning, "Preferably after some ale."

"It's strange how often ale has that effect on people," Bond said, far too blandly.

"Nathan Byrn," he said once it was his turn to introduce himself, "and I'm seventeen. I like to be outside. Preferably near some mountains or in the woods or something. It's relaxing to me."

"In that case, I do hope you find today's class relaxing, Nathan," Bond said. "Even if it's not exactly the woods."

"Hi, I'm Cecil Gershwin Palmer." Cecil gave them all a little wave. "I'm...I really like to do radio! Or watch people do science! Or just cuddle with my boyfriend."

"Two of those I can understand, but what do you find relaxing about watching science?" Q-Branch weren't the most exciting thing in the universe as far as Bond was concerned.

"I'm Johnny Storm, a seventeen year old incoming senior," Johnny said. "And as far as I'm concerned, the very best ways to relax are flying or spending quality time with pretty girls." You knew what he meant by quality time.

Yes, yes Bond did. "I hesitate to ask if the flying actually involves a plane."

"My name's Eric Bittle, I'll be sixteen tomorrow and a sophomore in the fall, and skating is one of my favorite ways to relax."

Sitting in the sun and talking, truly a taxing feat.

Daphne leaned back on her hands and looked around for a partner to chat with.

"Hey, Daphne. You're someone I only kind of know," Johnny said as he took a seat. "That should work for partnering up."
