Fandom High Graduation Ceremony, Class of 2015, Early Saturday Evening [Part 1]

Right after sunset, to make sure all types of guests could safely attend, the ceremony for graduation was ready to go. The lawn of the school had been lit up with blue and gold lights, creating safe paths for everyone to get to the seating area. There were blue and gold streamers flapping peacefully in the breeze, and of course, the makeshift paths were covered in glitter.

Look, if the supply wasn't going down, Zoe was just going to embrace the glitter madness for the sake of her own personal sanity.

Congratulations, Class of 2015! You made it to graduation day! Now you just had to get through the ceremony. At least nothing looked oddly out of place this year?

Once the speeches were over, Principal Winchester came back up to the podium, and called each graduate's name to give them their diploma.

Oh yeah! Take that, mom, for thinking Minako was never gonna get into a high school, let alone graduate!

Minako bounced up to the stage, beaming a thousand-watt smile. She bowed deeply to Principal Winchester before accepting her diploma, then turned to the audience, swept a deep theatrical bow, and bounced her way off the stage back to her seat.

Now Sparkle got to be loud and obnoxious while cheering for his friends. You better believe he was going to do just that.

For all that he'd spent years denying his berserker heritage, deep down Soren had also assumed that said heritage would also mean never actually graduating from a proper school. So, yes, he was looking really rather pleased that he'd managed it after all.

And this was it. Sia hadn't thought actually getting a diploma would feel like a big deal at all, but it was sort of like proof that she'd gotten through the last three years here. She'd take it.

But could she take the cap off yet?

Once his name was called, Flick did the whole 'shake hands, take diploma' thing as quick as possible before moving off the stage. He did manage to smile and nod though. Something to acknowledge that he appreciated this whole thing.

Isabelle Lightwood

Isabelle was still a little shaken from last weekend, and she really didn't know what to do with the fact that her father was here instead of her mother.

But she still put on her most radiant, winning smile as she collected her diploma.

Fandom was the longest Toby had stayed in one place since... since before he could remember (which admittedly wasn't that far, thanks, childhood trauma). But he'd stayed, and he'd graduated! That was something to be proud of.

By the time her name was called, Karina had a headache from being tense and expectant.

Still, she was an actor and she had this, goddammit, so her smile and her walk and her wave showed absolutely no sign of any discomfort or foreboding as she walked up, received her diploma, and headed back to her chair.

Joker strutted across the stage as best as he was able, and took the diploma with a big grin. "Score!"

You'd think Sparkle was all out of at least pomp after that speech of his, but in this particular circumstance...

He did the handshake thing, and shot Zoe a grin as he took his diploma.

And then, on his way off the stage, he paused for just a moment, just long enough to hold it up in the air and let loose with a loud, victorious, "WOO!"

Look, even if he had to go back to school when he got back to Canada, if none of this ended up actually counting because of one stupid cross-reality thing or another, he'd done this. Holy shit, he'd actually done this. That deserved at least one good 'woo' before he was sent off on his way.

Even as she walked across the stage, Emma was still kind of half-expecting them to finally realise they had the wrong Emma Swan.

Barry hadn't spent much attention on the entire ceremony. He was too busy monitoring an important experiment back in the lab on his phone. Except for cheering for a couple of people he knew, when his name came up it took a moment for him to realize that he needed to go up and accept his diploma.

When he did he smiled, waved and then went back to his seat and looking at his phone again.
