Fandom High Graduation Ceremony, Class of 2015, Early Saturday Evening [Part 1]

Right after sunset, to make sure all types of guests could safely attend, the ceremony for graduation was ready to go. The lawn of the school had been lit up with blue and gold lights, creating safe paths for everyone to get to the seating area. There were blue and gold streamers flapping peacefully in the breeze, and of course, the makeshift paths were covered in glitter.

Look, if the supply wasn't going down, Zoe was just going to embrace the glitter madness for the sake of her own personal sanity.

Congratulations, Class of 2015! You made it to graduation day! Now you just had to get through the ceremony. At least nothing looked oddly out of place this year?

You'd think Sparkle was all out of at least pomp after that speech of his, but in this particular circumstance...

He did the handshake thing, and shot Zoe a grin as he took his diploma.

And then, on his way off the stage, he paused for just a moment, just long enough to hold it up in the air and let loose with a loud, victorious, "WOO!"

Look, even if he had to go back to school when he got back to Canada, if none of this ended up actually counting because of one stupid cross-reality thing or another, he'd done this. Holy shit, he'd actually done this. That deserved at least one good 'woo' before he was sent off on his way.

Flick wasn't going to be demonstrative about it but he did clap a little louder when Sparkle's name was called. Hey, he'd been pretty damn helpful while Flick had been here.

Kathy had applauded like crazy and held up the sign she'd painted for him after his excellent speech, but she saw no reason not to do it again once he got his diploma. So she was hoisting up her big sign that read "YOU DID IT SPARKLE! CONGRATS!" in big, rainbow bubble letters, surrounded by bright glittery fireworks.

It was possible that Kathy's side of her dorm would never be free of glitter again.

"Spaaaaaaaaaaarkle!" And yes, Minako was pulling tiny pre-filled bags of glitter out of the sleeve of her robe, pulling them open and tossing the contents into the air.

Sorry, everyone. But this kinda demanded glitter.

You know, Atton owed Sparkle one from back during his own graduation. A belated return swing, so to speak.

So he waited, patiently, until the exact right moment; the moment that WOO had hit the floor.

And then he bellowed, "Sit back down, asshole! I'm flunking you!"

He was a role model.

Karla couldn't threaten to flunk Sparkle the way Atton had, so she settled for cheering obnoxiously instead.

Barry looked up from his phone to shoot Sparkle a grin and shout "FUCKING A!" at Sparkle's turn on the podium.

Jones applauded politely for her student. There was no trace of pride in her expression but the occasion warranted polite applause.

Hannibal smiled and applauded, standing where Sparkle could see him; the boy had come quite a way, and deserved appreciation. He chuckled a bit at the yell.

Karina's clapping and cheering for Sparkle turned, abruptly, into a lot of giggling at his victory cry.

She got it, she did. She was still going to laugh, even while she kept clapping.
