"How's the head?" Paige asked recognising her from the clinic a few weeks before.

"and do you want to bring to the phase, 'burning at the stake,' or shall I?"

Paige smiles back, "why do I get the feeling this lesson is gonna make me even more upset than I already am?" she asked.

Lyta's smile widened slightly as recognition prickled across her mind...even if it was a bit hazy. "It's...there," she said. "And I was actually thinking more along the lines of boiling in oil -- but the judges will also accept 'burning at the stake,' 'float or sink,' or 'stoning'."
