Sociology of Violence: 2nd Period

"Hello, everyone. Welcome to class. I hope you prepared your questions for today, because our guest speaker is here to discuss issues of security and law enforcement with you."

"Please welcome Constable Fraser of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and the current head of Fandom High's security and total dreamboat."

Sociology of the Paranormal: 6th Period

"Today, you will be broken up into project groups. I am going to give you your topics, and what I'd like each group to do is come up with several discussion questions based on your topic.

If you have any questions or concerns, let me know."

Homework: Here is the Study Guide for your midterm. I suggest you begin to review it.

[Slow-play for both classes, obviously and as always. There are threads of OCD ready for you. :) ]

Since the last time Phoebe performed magic, it wasn't for herself, she nods and writes that down. "So letting magic benefit you in some way can be considered unethical?"

[[OOC: So not a worry. *grins* It takes a lot to offend Phoebe/me and she's having her own issues at the moment.]]

"I guess if you're from a place where magic for personal gain is wrong, which I'm thinking is true in most magical theories, then, yeah, it would be unethical."

"What about using it to benefit someone else? You desire to help them, so you do, does that have any sort of personal gain traps in it?"

"Maybe if you're doing it so you can feel better about yourself?" Cordelia asked.

Phoebe nodded in agreement and added that to her notes.

Mac looks a little unsure about this whole debate, magic being new to her an' all. "If it isn't going to affect anyone else and you can't help it, then there's nothing really wrong with that... right?" she asked. The tortilla problem is definitely still at the top of her list of worries, especially as she has no idea how to control or get rid of it.

"That's definitely not personal gain or unethical," Phoebe assures her.

"That, is definitely comforting." She smiles, looking distinctly relieved.

Having ahd thoughts like that, especially since Sunday night, Phoebe can definitely relate.
