Sociology of the Paranormal: 6th Period

"Today, you will be broken up into project groups. I am going to give you your topics, and what I'd like each group to do is come up with several discussion questions based on your topic.

"Hi," Angela said, suddenly becoming very interested in the top of her desk. "So, um ... I thanked you for the flowers and chocolate, right?"

Those must have been some interesting desks, because Broots was now studying his in great detail as well. "Um, yeah? I did sort of ruin your evening. Least I could do."

"I ruined yours, too," she answered.

Huh. Someone had grafitti'd some illegible initials on the desk. She squinted, trying to figure out what they were.

"So, um. Not a big deal." She tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. "What do you think Grissom wants on this?"

"Not really." Broots said softly and began to munch on his apple. "Um, a discussion?"

"Sure. I can discuss," Angela said, relieved. "So ... I guess the culture would be different depending on whether the person was part of a larger community that accepted magic, or if it really wasn't common in the magic-users' society."
