Angela comes in with a mug of coffee from the TA lounge. With a little cream and a lot of wishful thinking, it's not *that* bad.

"Hello."

Rory raised her own cup of coffee in a salute. "Hi. How goes it?"

"A little depressing," Angela said ruefully. "But bearable."

She shivered. "I just wish it would quit being so cold."

"The grayness and all makes it worse, yeah," Rory agreed. "What's depressing now?"

Angela shrugged. "Anakin being gone. Geoff Chaucer's leaving. And we're only two months from graduation, too."

"It's just a lot of people to miss, y'know?"

"Yeah, I know," Rory agreed heavily. "But there's the summer. And maybe some people'll stay here after graduation, or something. Or we'll see them again, somehow." She paused. "Wait, Geoff's leaving? That sucks."

"I know," Angela wailed. "This week is his last classes. I think he's going back to London or something."

She tapped a finger against her lips. "Maybe some people could live here, and commute to college in D.C., or something."

"Yeah, there are a ton of great schools in that area," Rory nodded. "And everywhere I'm applying to is kind of nearbyish. Close enough to drive in a day or so, anyway. So maybe people'll come visit. The ones who can, I mean."

"Where are you applying?" Angela asked. "I have no idea yet."

"Harvard's my first choice," Rory said enthusiastically. "Then Yale, Princeton and Brown are safeties."

"I think you mentioned Harvard before," Angela said. "And Yale and Princeton are safeties?" She looked appropriately impressed.

"Yeah, I've just had a thing for Harvard for like, ever. And my mom's family is full of Yalies," Rory shrugged.

"Hey, Angela." Parker took a sip of her own coffee, and yawned. "How's your Monday going?"

"Okay," she said. "Geoff Chaucer's leaving. I'm a little sad I won't get to take another class with him. Also, I'm freezing and it's horrible outside."

"How about yours?"

"Damn! And I never got to take a class with him, either. He was nice the one or two times I've talked to him, but that's a shame." She shook her head. "It's not the best weather, is it?"

She laughed at Angela's question. "How much time have you got? And how much stupid adolescent idiocy can you stand to hear about?"

Angela managed a smile at that. "I'm here all day, and I think I owe you adolescent angst time. What's up?"

Parker grabbed a notepad, for fear of ~~shrubbery~~ eavesdroppers, and wrote down, I sort of had sex with Lee Adama Saturday night.

Angela blinked.

Then she quickly scribbled on the note, underlining Sort of and adding "EXPLAIN?".

Parker face-palmed, then wrote: Kissing, groping, and orgasm for me. Kissing and groping for him. Would've returned the favor, but we fell asleep.

Angela read it.

Then blushed. A lot.

She write back, Oh. Think you'll do it again?

Parker shrugged helplessly, then wrote, He has a girlfriend, remember? If he breaks up with her, maybe. If not, no way in hell.

Angela shrugged. Haven't seen them together in a while -- thought I might just be behind on stuff.

Does Kara know?

Parker ran a hand through her hair. I don't know. She didn't last night when I ran into her in the common room. I'm hoping he tells her soon. Parker underlined that three times. Even if he decides to stick with her, I'd just like to know. Damnit.

Angela nodded vigorously. Better to have it out there than just waiting to explode, she wrote, then winced. Are you still mad at her for the name thing?

Parker made a face. A little. Because she never apologized. More mad about a secret I found out, that I can't tell you. Private. I shouldn't know it. She rubbed her face, then started a new line:

And you guys were right about Jarod. Kill me?
