Shop Class: [2/27] - Danger Shop Craziness

As the students enter the shop room, Mac greets them with a smile.

After everyone arrives and signs-in, Mac makes some adjustments to the remote control and the room turns into a metal scrapyard.

"Hey everyone. Welcome to Shop Class. Today we'll be doing another one of our Junkyard creativity excercises..."

*SLAM* *CLUNK*

Mac looks over at the doors to the shop class which have closed and locked on their own. "Hal? Could you open please?"

"I'm sorry Mac," said a monotone voice. "I'm afraid I can't do that. Apparently someone is very upset at you."

Five robots shimmer into existence around the group of students.

"Okay. This is not good," Mac muttered to himself. "Kids! Run for it! Get into the supply room! There's no holoprojectors there!"

Mac hobbles/crawls over to a supply closet and starts pulling out various chemicals and starts mixing them together in a bottle.

"Here's the plan guys. The access panel is on the far end of the room. What I'm going to do here is toss this smoke bomb in there. When that happens-" Mac holds up his remote control, "One of you needs to click this button. It will summon a subset of the Danger Shop programming that will supply the weapons that were used by the gun club last week. Unfortunately it will not turn off the program Hal has running."

"So when I throw the bomb? Anyone who wants to try to get to the access panel should grab a weapon and fight their way to the access panel."

Pippi nods.

"Who here is the fastest?"

"Probably Walter," Pip says. "Unless someone else is hiding superhuman speed and didn't tell us about it."

Walter shrugged. "Unless anyone here says otherwise, that would be me." He no longer assumed he was the fastest after meeting Alfred.

_{[[OOC: Not to be a pain, but what types of guns would be available? Only I don't want to for a gun that isn't there.]]}

[[ooc: If I remember correctly from the gun club meeting, it was any kind of gun you could think of from any fandom.

Also? I think we should wait a bit for the others to chime in on planning before we get the power up and win the game. :)

Kawalsky didn't think giving everyone weapons, even fake ones, was such a good idea.

"Just...don't shoot randomly," he said after Mac was done. "And remember - bullets bounce."

"Got it."

"Hopefully not off the bots," Pip said.

"Well, they're metal, but it depends on what kind of metal. Not like we have much choice, but we should watch out for flying bullets just in case."

Xander raises a hand. Fun mostly-secret powers are one thing, but attacking robots are another. "I dunno if this'll help, because I dunno what your whacko-attacko-droids are running their sensors on? But I seem to have a case of tv-channel TK this week. If that can help at all."

"That's brilliant! ... What does it mean?"

Xander grins. Which hurts his face, but oh well. "I can change tv channels with my brain."

Pippi would clap her hands excitedly, but her hands are full with Xander's bloody head; so she doesn't bother. Instead she continues cleaning it off with some stuff that stings and applying "liquid bandage" to the gash.

Xander's head, if it knew Pippi was thinking about clapping, would be very grateful for the lack thereof!

He hisses at the sting-y stuff, but gives her a thumbs-up. "Thanks."

"Okay, so we think Walter is the fastest and most agile, and I guess I'm the strongest. Soooo, Professor MacGyver tosses his smoke bomb and hits the button. I'll try to brute force as many robots out of the way as I can while Walter runs like a crazed rabbit and Xander uses his power to interfere with their sensors and everybody who wants to moves forward taking out as many robots they can while staying as safe as they can in case the particularly fast or strong people don't make it? ... Is that a good plan?"

[ooc: I can see Mac wants to get going but we may want to wait a bit until Sam, Janet, and Nadia have a chance to chime in? Yes/no?

"Right. And then when we get the guns, we don't shoot each other."

"Right. Don't shoot anything fleshy... And we remember that bullets bounce."

"You got it."

"But not off people. Thus the not shooting at same," Xander adds.

"If people can cover me, I can get over to the control panel," Sam said, picking up a pair of wire cutters, a screwdriver, a swiss army knife, and some duct tape. "I'll do what I can to take it apart. I'm not sure how the robots are controlled, though, so it's better if you concentrate on taking them out and don't rely on me."

Pippi nodded.

"We'll clear a path for you and Walter."

Sam nodded, trusting Pippi. After all, the girl was handy with a flintlock.

Out of habit, she looked to Kawalsky, then Janet. "You guys ready for this?"

Lilly stares in disbelief. But she can't die, and most of her classmates can, so she hopes they're cool enough to scrape her up if she gets all dismembered and grabs a weapon.
