Janet yawned as she flipped on the library lights. She hadn't gotten much sleep last night.

Alanna wandered into the library, hoping to find a copy of the play.

"Hey, Alanna," said Janet. "How's it going?"

"Meh." Alanna summarized. "Do you have the book for the play from hell?"

"The school play?" asked Janet. "Or one actually written in hell?"

You could never really be sure around here.

"A Midsummer Night's Dream?" asked Janet. "England. Hey, how do you feel about Skeeter?"

"Yeah that one. England, huh?" Alanna shrugged. "Don't really care either way. I've had worse, I've definetly had better. I don't get why she keeps turning people into animals."

"I think we've got a few copies of it," said Janet. "Some of them even modern. And she keeps turning people into animals because she's mean and vindictive."

Alanna sighed. "I need one. And that's just nasty."

"Oh, no problem," said Janet. She scribbled out a location for a copy of the play. "Want to play a joke on her?"

Alanna raised a brow. "Sure." She peered at the paper. "Um, where is this?"

"Oh, sorry," said Janet. "I'm a little distracted. Five rows down, third bookcase on the right. And if you're in on the joke, what I need is some sort of absolutely false rumor about you to drop in Skeeter's ear that she'll go nuts over. Or a false life story. Either works."
