Sex Cultures: 6th Period

"Welcome, class. Now, up until this point, we have been looking at sex as a part of other societies. About how about the societies that sex creates?

Our first area of study will be the study of sex itself."

Lecture on the History of Sexology

Discussion: "Which pioneer or even current sexologist would you like to learn more about, and why do they interest you?"

"No homework this weekend I want you unbroken for Tuesday, mwa ha ha"

Oh, and Ms. Cally, if I could see you after class, I have a question for you. Not a dirty question, omg, it's Cally for pete's sake."

"She stole one of my tomatoes. Apparently likes them, the little brat. But she's been very well behaved today. How was Sex Cultures?"

Honey has burrowed herself pretty well into his lap at this point, calming considerably, so he gives her a frown that she can't see for Sara's benefit.

"It went well. It was more of an introductory class into the next unit, anyway. Although I think a few of them are still waiting for some sort of hands-on lab work with their fellow students," he says with an implied wink.

"I don't see how the school could possibly benefit from the ensuing lawsuits. But if there are enough students aged 18 and over, you could always do a field trip to one of the shops in town," she says innocently.

"I think they can wait until college to go on a field trip to a brothel," he deadpans.

"Not everyone is so... experimental, in college."

Teasing her? No! Never.

"But experimentation can be such a wonderful learning process, Dr. Grissom."

Her eyes are wide and eagar, like a first year graduate student. Her, tease him? Surely you jest.

He loses it, smirking and shaking his head.

"You'll have to tell me more about your theory, Ms. Sidle," he says as he gestures down to the puppy now sleeping in his lap. "At a more opportune time."

"Ah, yes. No need to corrupt the little one here." She pets her head gently, being careful not to wake her up.

With her other hand, she fishes out her cellphone and snaps a picture before Grissom can move. Sneaky little thing isn't she?

He groans quietly.

"And who exactly are you planning on sending that to?"

"Your mother. She should see her first 'grandchild', right?"

Amazingly enough, she's keeping a straight face. For the most part.

"First?" he asks without breaking his facial expression.

"Of what species?" he asks with a curious gleam in his eye.

"Goldfish are nice."

Her tone is light.

"I could do goldfish," he smiles. "Or we could go crazy...

And get tropical fish."

"Bettas are supposed to be very beautiful. Of course, we'd have to keep them separate."

"Well, they don't take up a lot of room. We could have a few and still have space for an aquarium," he chuckles.

"Although taking pictures for my mother might be a little more difficult. The reflection of the flash in the class."

"I think we should be content with the rascal we've got right now," she says in amusement as said rascal wakes up, tail thumping madly again.

"Well, that didn't take long," he muses to Honey, cocking his head at her with a smirk, before looking back up with a strangely serious gaze.

"Sara, I've never been happier in my life," he says honestly as I reclaim my sappy crown, ha ha, yes!

"Always knew I'd be happier with you than I ever was without you," she says with a tender gaze. Check, booyah!

He opens his mouth to say something, and then Honey starts happily barking right over him.

"I..." he says, raising his voice over the yapping. "I, Honey, shhhh..."

The dog keeps on barking even as Grissom tries to pet her, much to his dismay.

Don't start with me chica, because I will take you down.

Sara moves over. "Honey," she says softly but firmly, gently gripping her muzzle and holding it shut for a brief moment, "quiet."

She lets go and Honey settles back down, looking reproachful. "Good girl."

Biatch, you don't frighten me!

"So, no desire for any more puppies, then?" he says with a soft smile.

I WILL HAVE THEM RUNNING AN ORPHANAGE AND CANONIZED BY THE END OF THE WEEK, YOU BETTER STEP OFF, OMG ;)

"I don't think we have room for another one right now. And she nearly knocked down one of your specimen jars so...no. No more puppies."
