Sex Cultures: 6th Period

"Welcome, class. Now, up until this point, we have been looking at sex as a part of other societies. About how about the societies that sex creates?

Our first area of study will be the study of sex itself."

Lecture on the History of Sexology

Discussion: "Which pioneer or even current sexologist would you like to learn more about, and why do they interest you?"

Someone might want to tell the stalker it works better if she doesn't yip excitedly at the sight of her daddy.

Grissom hears the yip and immediately looks away from his desk and down to the floor, spotting a happy streak of excitable puppy bounding toward his feet.

Spinning his chair over a little, so Honey can't manage to swallow any of the little model parts on the desk, he swoops her up onto his lap at her insistence.

Of course, she uses the opportunity to try and lick his face, but instead gets a tongueful of beard. With an unhappy little sneeze, she spins around and then manages to smack Grissom's glasses off of his face with her tail, which is still wagging.

He bends over half blind to pick up his glasses, calling out to Sara as he assumes she is there but can't see her. "Your dog just assaulted me. Does a tail count as a dangerous weapon if a fist does?"

"I think you'll live," she says dryly, coming into his office. "And sorry--I set her down on the floor for a minute and next thing I knew, she'd taken off."

Sitting up with his glasses in his hand, he leans over to put them down, soothing Honey in his lap with soft, long pats to her back.

"It's fine, and I'm glad she scurried off to find me, instead of deciding to run off to the explore the Danger Shop," he says with a knowing glance.

"How'd your kids do on their quiz?"

"Of course she'd run to find you. You're a fellow carnivore." A slight smirk and then an omghowadorable expression replaces it.

She reaches over, scratching under the pup's chin. "They passed it. None really excelled but stoichiometry is difficult."

"I have found that some will always struggle with it, even advanced students. It's a different type of knowledge to comprehend and then apply, at least as compared to a lot of the other work in beginner's courses," he nods in agreement.

"Did you two have a nice lunch?"

"She stole one of my tomatoes. Apparently likes them, the little brat. But she's been very well behaved today. How was Sex Cultures?"

"Quick question for you," Grissom says. "You know some of your classmates better than I do. We're going to be doing another project in pairs. Would you rather choose your own partners, or have them assigned to you again?"

"Kinda be nice to choose them, this time," Cally says. "Though you can probably bet most of the class will just couple up. Me included."

"You're welcome, sir," Cally says, then looks at the model. "Erm, may I ask what you're building?"

"God, this must seem ridiculously archaic to you," he laughs. "It's a space shuttle, from almost forty years ago."
