I would totally have your grades for your essays up today, but um, still missing them from a couple people. If you don't get them in by this weekend? I'm not grading them, and you're going down a grade. Letting you know. Anyway. Class Info Post]

Rory sat on Tick's desk, looking very, very grumpy. All her limbs were still attached, though, and she was nursing a large cup of coffee.

"So. Hi. Professor Tick unfortunately couldn't be here today, so I'll be leading the discussion today."


"Last class, we talked about how Justice is implemented in Fandom. Do you guys think what happens around here is fair, as a whole? Furthermore, and this isn't just in Fandom, but do you think Justice can ever be viewed as subjective? Or, rather, the way said Justice is implemented.

I mean, let's say that someone, for instance, had nothing to do with the casting of a play, and she got horribly punished anyway, because the person who got cast thought it was in the name of Jusice to curse her, or something? Is that right, or wrong? Whoever cursed this person probably thought they were doing it for the good of the school, but they were misguided. Some might argue that Justice had become more like revenge then.

Once Justice is enacted due to a personal vendetta of sorts, does it cross the line from objective, fair Justice to subjective revenge? Or is there a middle ground? Discuss. And if you want to know what I'm talking about, ask me about my arms and legs. Seriously. I dare you."

Rory scowled, and paused. "Um, and for extra credit? Give me names of people who could conceivably cast a curse or whatever. Who live here. Who don't like plays, or brunettes, or something. Oh! And Logan, I need to talk to you when you have a second. After class, if it needs to be."

"Possibly. But I can't see Ms. Calendar doing this," Rory said, writing Jenny's name down. "I suppose Skeeter might have done it too, but neither of them has a motive."

"Unless Professor Skeeter is trying to get back at anyone who's friends with John?" asked Janet. "In which case, most of the rest of the school had better watch out. But I can't imagine why Professor Calendar would do anything like that."

"But you can get a pretty good idea of their personality after a short period of time," said Janet. She gave Marty a confused look at his tone. He was behaving pretty oddly today. "Are you suggesting that we have a coven of evil witches wandering around the school that have suddenly decided to start cursing random people?"

"Not at all. I'm just saying that there are *some* people who have been keeping secrets about themselves," Marty replied as he played with an envelope that he had in his hands. "I'm just wondering whether or not these secrets could be endangering other students."

"Xander, Logan, Vala and Callisto don't want to be in the play, but Callisto and Xander both know Jake's ultimately at fault. I think Callisto's planning on pulling *his* limbs off." Parker cocked an eyebrow at the classmates named who were present. "And Logan can't do magic anyway, sooo... I'm thinking it was the pizza. In which case, the pizza guy just has a weird sense of humor."

Vala's really just having too much sick fun watching Rory pop her limbs off and on... and speculating how very much easier that trick would make some of the trickier pickpocketing and catburglary jobs she'd done never dream of doing, because it would be wrong.

"Um, if you find out who did this, you'll tell us, right?" Vala said, perhaps a bit too excitedly. "I, uh, mean so we can make sure it doesn't happen to us, of course.
