Throughout the lawn, tables and chairs had been set up and scattered, some out in the bright, sunny center of everything, and some in the darker, more remote areas.

Eat up, folks! Don't let that food go to waste!

[OCD up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

"Yeah, I'm sure they will," Sparkle replied in a tone that suggested that he thought no such thing. "Ugh, this fucking place. They'll talk about new beginnings and fresh starts here until they're blue in the face, and then throw you under the goddamned bus here the moment you become inconvenient. Good to know."

"Skywalker," Sparkle muttered. "Handed him right over to the Inquisitor guy, all righteous goddamn fury. Heard Atton's story and everything."

He shook his head.

"I'm just, like, done for a while, I think. Stupid to think this place is anything they try to pass it off as, you know? It's great to have food and a roof and some of the people here aren't even complete shit, but people are still people no matter where you go."

"That's gonna be anywhere you go, Sparkle," Flick said though he could see where Sparkle was coming from. "Though, that's ridiculous to be sold out by a teacher especially if his story was valid. You know where he is? Anyway to get to him?"

Sparkle shook his head.

"I dunno. Space somewhere. Being stuffed in a prison cell or put on trial or maybe he's been executed for all I know. Either way, he's nowhere I can get to, arrested by fucking... space ninjas."

That was what the Jedi were, right? Close?

Flick crossed his arms and frowned.

"For what it's worth, I'm sorry," he said, nodding. "Sucks to have a friend taken away from you. It really does. If there's anything I can do, let me know. No connections that I know of that could help but I can get you funds if you ever wanna go find him."
