Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

Throughout the lawn, tables and chairs had been set up and scattered, some out in the bright, sunny center of everything, and some in the darker, more remote areas.

Eat up, folks! Don't let that food go to waste!

[OCD up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

Eleanor smiled, fondly, at that. "Afraid not," she said. "My mother grew up in London, and I've inherited her vocal inflections. I hope to travel there some day. Where is it you hail from?"

"A small town just a few hours from Wales on foot," Nathan shared. "I never got all that near London."

Too much noise, too many people, too young.

"I've heard it's quite the place, though. Big and busy."

"Have you ever seen Ireland?" Eleanor asked abruptly. "Ireland is on my list of places to see sometime. The pictures are lovely, but I've never been. You were just across the sea, weren't you?"

"I haven't," he said, shaking his head. "I've heard a bit about it just in passing and I've seen maps. I've managed to get to England, Scotland and Wales."

He paused for a second. "Wales is my favorite place, by far. I enjoy wide open spaces versus cities. I like being outside. Ireland might suit me there."
