Throughout the lawn, tables and chairs had been set up and scattered, some out in the bright, sunny center of everything, and some in the darker, more remote areas.

Eat up, folks! Don't let that food go to waste!

[OCD up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

"Too bad," Anders said, glancing around until he found Cade and giving him an appreciative once-over once he had. "Are there usually more people walking around half-dressed?"

"Sadly, not more than what's typical for this time period." Even Isabelle's own clothes were pretty modest, for once. "In fact, I should make a note of having a beach party when it gets a little warmer. That seems like it'd encourage people to shed some more fabric."

"The fellow driving the bus -- Skywalker? -- said it would get humid," Anders said absently. "Which I suppose means I'll have to find some coins to buy new clothes with, or turn to stealing. This robe isn't designed with the heat in mind."

"I would recommend buying." Not that she was really morally against stealing. Didn't really bother her when Flick did it, except that one time he almost got killed by a demon for doing it. "And yes, you'll definitely need new clothes."

"Buying's better when you're trying to avoid trouble," Anders admitted. "So that's something for me to do as soon as I find some way to make money."
