Throughout the lawn, tables and chairs had been set up and scattered, some out in the bright, sunny center of everything, and some in the darker, more remote areas.

Eat up, folks! Don't let that food go to waste!

[OCD up! This is the picnic post for general mingling. Roommates, fake siblings and teachers are all here. Since it's outside, the picnic is open to all students, teachers, and townies!]

Kaylin had never seen this much food in her life. She didn't particularly feel like eating after her portal trip, but who knew when she'd be offered food again?

She'd also never seen anything like most of this food before, so she was trying it out carefully with an increasingly happy smile.

"I've never seen this much food in my life," Kaylin admitted. "And most of it foods I've never seen either."

"Well don't go too crazy and overstuff yourself," Barry advised. "And stay away from the potato salad. Too much relish."

"I don't know what relish is," Kaylin admitted, "but I'll stay away from any salad with potatoes.

Kaylin made a face. "Pickled things in with potatoes? I think I will definitely avoid that."
