School Announcements, 2/21/06

Announcements come after the lunch period today.

"Yo, kiddos, this is Dewey, your principal, bringing you the announcements of the day.

First, teachers need to turn in their attendancey forms to the office today. Alright?

Second, I've posted a list outside my office of the castings for the school play. I had to revise them a bit, with the addition of the amazing audition tapes I recieved in my spacious inbox. But they are posted. Look around for Mister Dream, or Cordy or Rory for more information about rehearsals and stuff. That's their job, not mine. I'm now just sitting back and letting the magic flow for itself.

So, that's really it, kiddos. These announcements were brought to you by the Men Without Hats. You can dance if you want to, you can leave your friends behind. Because your friends don't dance, and if they don't dance, well, guess what, they ain't no friends of mine."

Anyone stopping by Dewey's office after the announcements will find him conspicuosly not there, and the following list posted next to the duct-taped golf cart.

Nadia stopped by the principal's office after talking to Veronica, a little surprised by how anxious she was to know if she got into the play.

Sure enough, there was her name. She squeeled slightly, then grabbed her notebook to jot down the other characters and actors in the show.

Now she'd have to actually read the play. . . .

If he's Starvling and has no understudy, but is understudying the lead... what happens to Starvling if he's doing the lead thing?

He shrugs and walks away going, "This is because everyone thinks I'm skinny, right?"

Sharon totally doesn't offer her plant as death-fodder. Especially since that might be slightly depressing especially given the lack of tall, unattached males for her to chase--and the troopers only kind of cout, since she's spent enough time talking to the plant it kinda feels like a friend definitely not a baby, btw, omgnobabiesongalactica.

Alanna glanced at the list. Then glanced at it again, not noticing that Miss Parker was on it as well. "There will be bloodshed."

Rory ran over to see the cast list immediately after second period.

"Oh nooooo," she moaned, reading it. "Cordy and I are going to die. And what the hell. Chuck Norris?"

Molly stopped by the office to check the cast list during sixth period. She squealed when she saw her name. "Wheeee! I get to be a fairy!"

"What. The. HELL?" he demanded. "Who the heck put them up to this? Why is this my life?"

He beats his head against the wall.
