Rory wandered in after ACJ and curled up behind the desk.

The library is here. There are books. There are even pretty girls to help you find them.

[ooc: And while Rory is here except for 4th and 7th periods, her player will be AFK until 1:30 or so EST. I'm here now!]

Nadia made a face when Angela mentioned Italian poetry, but nodded. "Okay, thanks." She headed over to look through the stacks, and pulled out a copy of the Devine Comedy, figuring it sounded more cheerful than the Inferno. She checked to make sure it was a translation, then brought it back up to the desk. "I've never taken any books out before, do I need to do anything special?"

Angela blinked. "A card. I keep forgetting that this week. Gimme a second."

She rummaged around for a library card form and passed it across the desk to Nadia. "We just need your name, grade and campus address. Oh, and, um, you probably don't want to sign this in blood, just in case you normally do that."

Nadia smirked. "We're a little different in Argentina, but we're not that different." She quickly filled out the form and passed it back. "So how've you been?"

"I didn't think you would, but, you know. Never hurts to make sure," Angela said amiably. "And I've been good, mostly. You?"

She processed Nadia's form as she talked, quickly passing a shiny card across the counter.

Nadia accepted the card and leaned on the desk. "I'm okay. Well, I'm probably failing Chemistry, but other than that. . . ."

Angela made a face. "Sidle's classes are hard. But I'm sorry. There are a bunch of science whizzes here, maybe somebody could tutor you."

"Yeah?" Nadia shrugged. "I wouldn't know who to ask, but I should probably look into it. We've got another test next week, and I know I didn't do well on the last one."

"I think Blair Sandburg or someone was organizing tutoring?" Angela said speculatively. "Or if you come by when Janet's here, she's really good at science. She might know."

Nadia's face fell eeeeever so slightly. "Blair, huh? I guess I talk to him. . . . When is Janet usually here?"

Angela grimaced internally at Nadia's expression. She had forgotten Blair said something about dating Nadia. "Janet's in and out whenever," Angela shrugged. "But I think Fridays are her easy days, so tomorrow would probably be a good time to look for her."

Nadia nodded. "Okay, I guess I'll stop by tomorrow, then. Thanks."

"No problem," Angela said apologetically. "Let me know if you need help with anything else."

"I will, thanks." Nadia turned to leave, then paused. "I hear you and Marty got back together. Congratulations." She wasn't entirely sure that was the right thing to say, but she had been glad to hear it, so she thought she'd . . . say something.

An embarassed smile quirked the corners of Angela's lips upwards. "Thank you. And hey, don't forget the Dante."

Nadia blinked, then grinned sheepishly. "Right. I would have totally forgotten. Thanks." She grabbed the book, then waved with it as she headed back out of the library.
