Hitting Things 101- Tuesday- 4th period

When the students got to the Danger Shop today, they'd find something that looked a lot like something out of an amusement park. Classes at Fandom High were tough, yes.

"Well, I said you'd get to hit a variety of different things," Jaina began. "This week, you're going to hit each other with cars. In case you're not from somewhere that has these, these are bumper cars. They're simplified versions of real cars, where you can go forward and reverse, and the bumper means you can slam into each other without causing any actual damage. Okay, your neck might hurt a little after." Obviously she thought you just had to deal with that. "That's what you're doing today. Get in a car, and hit all the other cars you want. And, uh, don't do this in real cars, okay? I refuse to get blamed for something that dumb."

Jessica found herself stuck in a corner for a little bit. She sometimes had trouble with the finer points of vehicular motion, even when it was this stripped down. Sad.

Cade was decidedly worse for wear this afternoon after having started drinking around lunch yesterday. Hitting people with cars where his head got jostled around was just going to make him even meaner.

...And that was before the accelerator on his car starting sticking.

Watch out, class. Cade's out for blood today.

Since this was the first time Alex had been in a bumper car, she was determined to hit as many people in cars as she could. This was going to be fun!

Snow didn't know what a car was, let alone a bumper car, so she was just going to stare at the strange metal thing in confusion. What? Help?

Goose had never been in a bumper car before but that did not stop him from trying to hit as many cars as he possibly could.

"People do this for fun?" Anakin asked out loud, shaking his head.

Why would you do that? It happened to him all the time at home, vehicles trying to hit him, or knock his out of the air, or . . .

Yours was not a normal life, Anakin, remember?

He shrugged, climbed into the bumper car, and promptly got annoyed with its incredibly unresponsive controls. Would Jaina get mad if he tried to tweak the thing?
