Philosophy 201- Monday- 1st period
Anyone who knew Jaye's classes by now knew how this went. Anyone who didn't know Jaye's classes by now might realize something was up when they showed up to an actual classroom instead of the theater.
"This is your final," Jaye said, "so I want you to write down as many of the movies we've watched as you can remember- points for each you get right- and then give me an essay on what pragmatic philosopher John Dewey would say about the lineup."
No, she'd never told them who John Dewey even was before, but half of philosophy was rambling on forever and pretending you knew/cared what you were talking about- in Jaye's experience, anyway- so there was that.

Re: Take the final
He wrote down a few descriptions of movies and then decided that John Dewey would have really liked all these movies because his wife had left him and these gave him hope of finding someone new in the cutest way possible.
And that was all he had.
