Das Schnitzel breaks out her chicken to human translator and stands on a chair so she can keep an eye on the whole cafeteria. So far a whole school year without a food fight and by Colonel Sanders goatee she will not let it happen on her watch.

"Good day students. I will be serving lunch today because the Chef is unavailable." she sighs heavily "He got his head stuck in a in between some stair railings. Gloria is using Crisco on his head as we speak...he's an idiot but he's my idiot so if I hear a word against him then you will have me to deal with."

Today's Menu Is:

-Various kinds of Pizza

-Grilled Bolonga and Cheese Sandwiches

-Wild Rice

-Sweet Potato Fries

-Brownies

Once upon a time it actually would have bothered Edward that a chicken was serving lunch.

Now, however, he was pumped that there was pizza.

He loaded up his tray with pizza and brownies and found a seat.

Pippi passes up the Pizza for a Grilled Balonga and Cheese Sandwich and sweet Potato Fries. (What a great combo!)

She picks a table by a window and plunks her tray down. Anybody who notices such things will notice that she has less on her plate then normal.

Walter, on the other hand, has his normal voracious appetite. Perhaps even a bit more so than usual. He sat down across from Pippi and took a bite of pizza before greeting her, and because Alfred is very specifically working on his powers of observation, he does note her tray's contents.

"Hi. How's tricks?"

Pippi took a bite of her sammich. Yummy!

"Haven't had occasion to play any." she answered, "You?"

"Just a glitter shower for the substitute principal," and habanero jelly in Blair's sandwich, but he wasn't going to mention that one.

"I never did hear why you came through the lobby the other evening in such a very smelly state. What happened?"

"Oh..." said Pippi, "I helped Anders look for a busted up motorbike to give Cally for her birthday because she likes to fix things." she said.

She munched on some fries.

"It was very exciting."

"Good exciting or 'people could die' exciting?" Walter asked between bites of pizza.

"Well..." Pippi munched thoughtfully.

"If you just go by how I feel about it... The former. If you go by Anders' reaction at the time? Prolly the latter... So. Both I guess."

"Ah... one of those. So it would have been fun. Other than the smell." He tried a bite of his sandwich and then took another, bigger bite. Yum.

"Do you have any interesting plans for the day?"

"I'm gonna have tea-time with Alfred." She grinned.

"Other then that no. Why, got any ideas?"

Walter's eyebrows shot up. "Tea with Alfred? Well, I suppose that will probably be interesting. I don't have any plans today. I might just spend the evening getting some studying done ~~since the mun feels like death warmed over~~, but I would love to hear how your tea with Alfred goes."

Pippi grinned. "Okay, I'll drop by later and give you a full report!"

She's really digging the sammich.

"So how was Valentine's Day?"

"It was very good for me and Victor," Walter said with a distinctly schmoopy smile. "Not so much so for some of the people I saw at Cafe Fina last night."

"Oh no! What happened?"

"I probably shouldn't give details, but I did watch two guys get left at their tables by their dates. That can't have been fun."

"Hmmm," she hmmm'ed chewing on a bit of fry. "That can't be good no. And you're right, it doesn't do to talk a lot of shponk about what's going on with people behind their backs. I was just worried the place might have been attacked by pirates or the sprinklers went off or something."

"Attacked by pirates would have been fun, though," Walter said with a wink. "Don't you think?"

"Yes! Fun in all kinds of exciting ways!"

"Both kinds of exciting, but that's okay. I would have been able to watch Alfred fending off a pirate boarding party wielding nothing but a ruler. Those pirates wouldn't stand a chance."

Pippi doesn't get the whole ruler thing but thinks Walter is probably right.

"Which reminds me... I'm thinking of starting a business. When the weather gets nice again."

"What sort of business?" Walter asks, setting his pizza down to look at her. Anything Pippi has in mind is bound to be interesting.

"I thought maybe once I have my longboat equipped with a sail, I could hire it out for romantic sunset cruises or trips to the mainland..." She chewed thoughtfully.

"Maybe I could contract with Barbossa to sail by in his boat and be all piratical to add a little excitement."

"That sounds like great fun!" Walter said enthusiastically. I have to wonder what might be in the waters around Fandom. Maybe you'll find a kraken."

"A crack in what?"

"It's a huge sea monster from Greek myth. But nothing really seems to be myth around here, so who knows?"

Pippi can't think why Greeks would be afraid of a crack, but takes Walter's word for it.

"I assume you'll just do it on weekends? I will have to try to get a day off from Alfred to take one of your cruises."

"I was thinking of asking if Cafe Fina would be willing to partner up and supply delightful picnic meals, and someone to..." she waved her hand. "Serve... For very high-end clients."

"That sounds quite interesting. When you bring it up to Alfred, feel free to tell him that I wouldn't mind helping out."

"Excellent." she said. "Today, the shores of Fandom... Tomorrow? The world!" she holds her half eaten sammich aloft triumphantly.

Walter applauded politely, grinning broadly. "Brilliant, Captain Pippi. Let me know when we set sail."

"You bet!"
