Jaye looked none too pleased to be here at the front of the Danger Shop Theater, and she wasted no time in saying why. "It's bad enough we have to work and be at school on a national holiday, but we have to be at work and school for first period. That's just not right. So tell you what, let's have an easy day and just watch a movie. And then you guys can hit the beach or something. Sound good? Good."

She didn't tell them that the movie was the meta for Jersey Shore Shark Attack, because Jaye was terrible.

If Jim had to be at school early on a Monday, at least he got to watch a movie. He slumped down in his chair and crossed his arms to get himself comfortable.

And then he spent most of the movie trying to figure out if Pauly D was orange or brown. The lighting just never made the decision easy. In the end, Jim decided he was some weird combination of both colors.

This was the trashiest thing Juliet had ever seen, and she'd been to Coney Island on holiday weekends. she was terrified, but probably not for the reasons the filmmakers intended.

Being from the 80s, there was basically nothing here that Dave understood. But now he knew that he must fear the future. FEAR IT.

Jim's essay consisted of another picture of Pauly D with gravity defying hair and a really poorly drawn shark above him, mouth wide open like he was about to have a really tan dinner.

I was rooting for the shark in this movie. I think that's the point. This movie proved that even ferocious killers can be sympathetic when they're dealing with someone whose talent seems to be battling the sun for who's more orange.

Juliet wrote that the film was about how, if certain people didn't start acting less obnoxious, they probably deserved to get eaten by sharks.

It was not her finest piece of work.

Dave wrote a page about how the shark represented misplaced aggression. After all, did Jersey even have sharks? And the people in the movie clearly represented misspent youth creeping into misspent adulthood. There were some holes in this theory, but that was true of the plot, too.

I almost went with Malibu Shark Attack instead, just because Wonderfalls' Gretchen Speck is in it.

Then I remembered Gretchen Speck is in a hell of a lot of Syfy movies and therefore you get Pauly D and a guy from NSync.
