The time for a final strike had finally arrived. The prisoners of detention had been freed, powers and abilities had been returned, and all that remained was Umbridge, and her still-faithful Loyalists.

It was time to pick a side, and bring Umbridge's reign to an end.

And Warren, from his perch, could see everything below him, if he so desired. He could see the field soaked with blood, explosions and gunshots and so much chaos.

And finally, he found the face that he had been looking for, looking back at him and splattered in red.

He swallowed, his heart suddenly feeling so much more heavy in his chest than it had any right to be.

And then he spread his wings and leapt from the parapet. He'd continue to watch, he just... he needed to breathe, and he couldn't do it from there.
