All Across the Island, Sunday Morning through Afternoon

The time for a final strike had finally arrived. The prisoners of detention had been freed, powers and abilities had been returned, and all that remained was Umbridge, and her still-faithful Loyalists.

It was time to pick a side, and bring Umbridge's reign to an end.

Lex supposed he should be grateful that clearly the higher power that was Umbridge had been looking out for him and he'd survived being swatted into a wall.

The bruises were making that harder than normal though.

So far as Warren was aware, he really had nothing left to lose by sticking with the Loylist side of things. He hadn't seen Karla since the other day, but it was hard to shake the memory of her under the influence of Umbridge's control spell.

He was in a bit of a daze, halfheartedly paying attention to the wounded, here mostly so that he could go through the motions. If anyone seemed like they needed some emergency healing, he had healing blood to spare, at least until he wandered off to do something else.

Raven was guarding the school as commanded, pacing restlessly as she waited for a fight. She was looking forward to the imminent violence.

Given how her cover would be useless by the today's radio broadcast, after leaving the security office the night before, Cara had made her way to the library.

To help with the defences, obviously. Research was not her thing.

She stood off to one side, watching the activity in the library.

Clint was pretty sure it was a terrible idea for him to be here. Yes, technically, he was injured, with the major whack to the head that he'd gotten among all his other aches and pains. Yes, technically, he was no longer on the loyalist side, now that his Imperio curse had finally been broken. Yes, technically, it wasn't safe for him to go back to his apartment, or to go outside at all really, where he might be recaptured. So, it seemed that the library was the safest spot for him right now, and yet something about being surrounded by people he'd spent months hunting down gave him the feeling that it just wasn't right. Maybe if he curled up a little more, no one would notice him among everything else going on.

After her fight with the Hulk, Raven had to retreat for a time to nurse her wounds and to rejoice over finally being free. She'd finally broken the spell that had bound her. She wasn't looking for a fight, but if anyone, resistance or loyalist, came looking for one, she just might oblige them.

This was where Karla was spending most of her time. Bandages, sutres, Healing webs and more were spread out near her, for use depending on severity. No one else on their side was going to die if she could help it.

Shira was apprehensive about approaching Karla, but she wasn't going to let her nerves stop her from offering her fellow Healer her aid.

"What can I do to help?" she asked.

Wow those supplies were heavy. Robin had strong legs (he was a frog after all), but this was a very long way to carry all these ~~moddable~~ medical supplies.

"I've got..." he gasped. "Supplies...if you need 'em."

He dropped the bag with the rest of the supplies they already had, and then, with an almost comic sigh of exhaustion, fell backwards onto the table, panting.

Carl made his way to the library carrying his tape recorder, note book, and camera (with lots of film). He wasn't good at fighting or healing, but he could research better than most.

Yesterday, Warren hadn't gotten involved as the Resistance raided and took out the detention hall. All power to them, he couldn't have been bothered to care. And they'd taken out the library, he'd ignored that, too. But when he'd gone to his office that morning to try to find a quiet place to collect his wits, he'd been met with a nasty, rather corrosive surprise that had taken him a good twenty minutes to wash from his skin, searing his flesh away as quickly as he could heal it.

Between that and the fact that, to the best of his knowledge, Karla was on the Loyalist side, he really had nothing left to lose by throwing himself away to the only side of the fight that would take him.

His wings were spread as he crouched on one of the parapets, keeping his eyes open for any would-be intruders who were looking for trouble. They'd get it, with a scream and a flurry of razor-edged metallic feathers, and to hell with the consequences.

The Madri were out in force today. And if there seemed to be more than usual... That's because there was more than usual.

And they were ready to take down anyone in their path.

Having been imprisoned for so long, Zoe was sort of at a loss as to what to do with her freedom. There were plans to be made, and all of this effort would be for nothing if Umbridge wasn't taken down, but for the moment, she was just going to bask in being able to be exactly where she wanted to be right now. It was kind of an awesome feeling.
