The time for a final strike had finally arrived. The prisoners of detention had been freed, powers and abilities had been returned, and all that remained was Umbridge, and her still-faithful Loyalists.

It was time to pick a side, and bring Umbridge's reign to an end.

Natasha was just going to sit next to Clint and not say anything until he was ready to talk. And stab anyone who tried to mess with him, friend or foe. That seemed like a good plan.

That was a good plan, if Natasha didn't mind a lot of silence on Clint's part at first. "Are you all right?" he finally asked. Focusing on her seemed like a better option than thinking about himself at the moment.

"I'm fine," Natasha assured him. "You punch like a sniper." She didn't return the question because, well, some things were obvious.

He shot like one too, but he wasn't going to say that either. "I'm glad you still hit like an assassin," he said, trying to smile, but the expression quickly faltered. "Natasha, I'm so sorry."

"Wasn't you, Clint," she said matter-of-factly. "Not for you to apologize for."

"Oh, no, of course it wasn't me. Just like it wasn't me with Loki, right?" Clint said. "I killed children, Natasha. And Coulson... I should have been able to fight it."
