Umbridge High School Building, Saturday Evening
There were some clouds hanging around the spires of Umbridge High School, but not enough; there was an overlaying sense that there shouldn't be as much sunlight shining down on it as there was.
It was quiet. Kind of. There was tension in the air, a wound-up strung-up thing that ensnared the school. Somehow it seemed as if even the birds didn't want to touch down on the building itself, and the gates seemed to fold into themselves, even if they weren't quite shut.
And all that on a weekend, too.
[[wait for the ocd up! ]]

Re: Across the School
Frank tried so hard to be charming. So, so hard.
Re: Across the School

"Only one guy wearing a badge doesn't do a whole lot for the idea of uniformity," Frank pointed out. "Would you wear one, at least?"

She wasn't the most subtle Loyalist. Even when she wasn't imperio-ed into evil, she'd always come across as a little unnerving. That inherent creepiness was just... Effy.
Re: Across the School
Yeah, unnerving was a good word for her. He was still going to try, though!

"...It isn't 'please,' is it?"
He really hoped it was 'please.'
Re: Across the School
"Ten points from--" Effy hesitated, a tiny frown wrinkling her brow as a stray thought that didn't quite align flickered in her mind. "Whatever the fuck your name is."
It didn't quite work, but no matter.
