Umbridge High School Building, Saturday Evening

There were some clouds hanging around the spires of Umbridge High School, but not enough; there was an overlaying sense that there shouldn't be as much sunlight shining down on it as there was.

It was quiet. Kind of. There was tension in the air, a wound-up strung-up thing that ensnared the school. Somehow it seemed as if even the birds didn't want to touch down on the building itself, and the gates seemed to fold into themselves, even if they weren't quite shut.

And all that on a weekend, too.

And there was one detentionee who was severely pissed.

The Raven's emotional thrall crumbled away and Bruce began to transform. The shirt ripped first. The shoes were next as he crumpled over into a ball and began to growl.

A moment later Bruce was gone and a Hulk was in his place.

Rising up to almost his full height he let a roar which shook the foundations of the castle.

It might be best not to get in his way.

Alex whooped and threw his arms up in excitement when Bruce started transforming.

Most people would agree it was only common sense not to get in Hulk way.

Unfortunately for Lex, detention might have been cracked, but his imperio was holding strong, and common sense took a back seat to enforcing the rules.

"Sit back down. Now."

The Hulk turned and let out a roar at Puny Bald Man, swatting at him as if he were a fly.

Lex's body arced gracefully though the ait, only to not-so-gracefully connect with the wall.

April looked up from where she'd been carefully examining her fingernails. Blinked once.

"Cool."

Yep. That was it, Hulk. That was all you were going to get. 'Cool.'

Scent of Heather watched the transformation with fascination, and when the big green...troll? Ogre? Whatever roared, she began to laugh.

Tim had been standing guard outside detention, figuring that was where the trouble would come from.

He turned towards the door in horror however when he heard the roar.

"Oooooh fudge."

Zayne watched the transformation in amazement.

... Was he the only person who didn't know that guy could do that? He wasn't going to say anything. Just pretend everything was perfectly natural and that this wasn't scary or anything.

Jaye stared a lot. Because the guy who she'd decided lost it the other day was now the not-so-jolly green giant and she was just going to be all the way over here now. Far, far away.

Billy so wasn't going to get in his way. He was, however, going to cheer at the sight of the Hulk, and follow along happily wherever he went. It seemed like the safest way to go, at the moment.

Staying well back from Bruce seemed like a good plan. A very good plan.
