Detention, Depths of the Castle, Wednesday

The good news for everyone in detention was that there wasn't any sign of singing going on on the island today, so everyone could be spared from any further embarrassing admissions that they'd rather not have made.

The bad news was for everyone in detention was, well, they were all still in detention. But surely, it was getting easier to deal with over time?

Sookie shook her head, smiling a little herself. "No, ma'am. I'm okay. It's not a bad day yet." It wouldn't be, for awhile. "Do you need anything?" She tilted her head, and added, "I can set something up to make the time go faster, you know, in your head, like I do for the others? Maybe with your kids?"

Zoe gave that a few moments of genuine consideration before shaking her head. "No, it's all right. You need to save up your strength," she said. "I'm doing all right. I know Dean and Grace are safe, they have to be."
