Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part II

There were plenty of large umbrellas set up for those who didn't enjoy a good pelting of various summer related materials. Because some people are weird like that.

There was also a splendid selection of food and beverages under a canopy to keep from ingesting suntan lotion. See? Your faculty thought of everything. Except how to make the island behave.

That you'll have to deal with.

Luke wouldn't ogle. He would look intensely. Out of curiosity and nothing else. Yep.

"Your brother? Thor?" Luke asked, recalling that name from previous conversations. He was amused by Loki's excitement seeing as Luke himself would freak out if he had more family members show up. "Is he a student here?"

Loki grinned and nodded excitedly. "He is a teacher. Though he is not my brother. He is still my brother nonetheless."

"Ah, I get it. None of my cousins here have actually been my cousins," Luke said. "I have a different version of Percy at home and Alex...well I don't think I have a different version of Alex at home but he's still my cousin."

"I'd like that," Luke said, not knowing how much he'd like it once he saw what Thor looked like. "My knowledge on the Norse pantheon is sort of weak still, what's he the god of?"

Why Luke put so much faith in Loki's opinion was a mystery. No wonder he got duped into being evil.

"That reminds me of Annabeth. Cousin, not a sibling." She and Thor shared the same fluffy blonde hair. "She wanted to take me back to Olympus instead of killing me. Didn't work out that way due to a combination of me being stubborn and a daughter of Zeus kicking me off a cliff, but she tried."

Loki nodded in agreement with that. "Which is why I am glad to be here. Even the Ares-Son doesn't attempt to murder me, so much as attempt to melt my brain with stupidity. Which is an improvement from Asgard."

Because he really ought to be blue colored to begin with. More skin tone changes were just right out.

Which was actually sadder for Percy since he was older than Loki at this point.

Well he was just guessing on the Frost Giant part.
