Library, Monday

When William entered the library on this particular first day of a new semester, he was greeted with... a booming noise that sounded suspiciously like a clap of thunder.

Thankfully, there was no lightning or even rain to go accompany it, though the lights did flicker.

It wasn't an isolated incident, either. After the first couple of times, William became accustomed enough to the interruptions that he stopped giving a startled jump every time they occured.

[ooc: the library is open! and thundery. blame [livejournal.com profile] hoorayimrich.]

It was possibly due to him looking less like a hobo by showering and shaving. So, there was that.

"Should I be concerned?" Or start exploring to find the source.

"Quite the interesting place," he replied, looking around the place with an intensity that was possibly familiar.

"You've read my mind, Mr. Murdoch," Holmes replied, making his way over to examine the device as he waited for assistance. For now.

Just hope he doesn't have time to attempt disassembly.

Holmes narrowed his eyes at the computer, watching it come to life with lights and faint sounds. "Are books no longer in use then?"
