Fandom High Graduation Ceremony, Class of 2012, Early Saturday Evening (Part 2)

Were you all enjoying your graduation, children? Ingvar certainly hoped you were. It was so much fun, after all! Though... it could be a little more fun, couldn't it? It felt as if something was missing somehow. Something to really make it... fun.

Ingvar knew what it was.

And so, while the graduates were still on and around the stage, the earth began to rumble. Large black clouds of smoke pushed out of Ingvar's volcano and into the air, obscuring the sky and the moon. Soon, the air was covered in a thick black blanket of darkness.

The tune of the rumbling shifted.

Around the stage, clear protective walls sprung up. This was not Fandom's first tango on graduation day, thank you. She knew how to take care of what was hers.

Unfortunately, Ingvar knew its mother well. Moments later, it began to rain: a thick downpour of familiar plastic poppets in varying levels of creepiness, but also nice, brown, fluffy ...red-eyed, sharp-clawed teddy bears. And leading the charge, teeth-first--

"DROP BEARS!"

Cassidy turned to look at Aaron and merely grinned up at him.

"I merely appealed to her sensible nature." She said quite demurely.

And that would be Aaron, throwing up his hands. "Next you'll be part of the coven and demanding a cradle game or three," he muttered. "Stay here. I need to...watch the battle and make sure nothing escapes."

Those three paces he stalked off (still close enough to protect Cassidy if she needed it) were a victory for you, Cassidy. Enjoy them.

Cassidy was careful not to say the first thing that came to her mind -- that she would never be part of the Coven because she wasn't a powerful Queen like the members of the Coven were.

"Games of cradle aren't bad at all. In fact, I was thinking of teaching it to ..." She bit her tongue, almost being foolish enough to tell him she had planned to teach Ranon and his friends the game. Somehow, she knew that Aaron finding out that she had been around a Terriellian male without an escort would not be a good thing.

She sighed. "Yes. I'll stay right here while you make sure we stay safe."

Oh yes. Cassidy was very much aware that it was a little bit of a victory for her that he had stepped away.

And Cassidy was damn lucky that he was too busy running away strategically retreating SCOUTING THE AREA FOR DANGER to press her more on just who she'd been thinking about teaching that game to.

Even knowing that she lied so very badly, she would have tried to put him off.

She sighed, settling into a chair as Karla had and watching Aaron's back -- whether he realized it or not. She knew more about Fandom than he did and was pretty sure if there was a battle that came their way, she could fight just as well or better than as he could.

Of course, that would just open her up to even more questions and fussing, so he hoped the fight stayed contained.

Cowardice? No. Tactics.
