Were you all enjoying your graduation, children? Ingvar certainly hoped you were. It was so much fun, after all! Though... it could be a little more fun, couldn't it? It felt as if something was missing somehow. Something to really make it... fun.

Ingvar knew what it was.

And so, while the graduates were still on and around the stage, the earth began to rumble. Large black clouds of smoke pushed out of Ingvar's volcano and into the air, obscuring the sky and the moon. Soon, the air was covered in a thick black blanket of darkness.

The tune of the rumbling shifted.

Around the stage, clear protective walls sprung up. This was not Fandom's first tango on graduation day, thank you. She knew how to take care of what was hers.

Unfortunately, Ingvar knew its mother well. Moments later, it began to rain: a thick downpour of familiar plastic poppets in varying levels of creepiness, but also nice, brown, fluffy ...red-eyed, sharp-clawed teddy bears. And leading the charge, teeth-first--

"DROP BEARS!"

It just wanted to love you, Cara! Love you with his teeth!

Those sharp, pointy--HEY NOW. Hitting it was not very nice of you. Now it was just going to attempt to limp away once it hit the ground very messy thump. But never fear! There were plenty more where that came from!

And Cara would be more than happy to deal with them in the same way, after she gave this one a good thump on the head with an agiel so it didn't gnaw anyone else's ankles to death.

Well, that was an opening to go for her nummy-looking shoulder if this drop bear ever saw one!

His brother was just going to have to contend with targeting the other one.

Two drop bears, two agiels, and Cara always had been good at figures. Grateful for the toughness of Mord'Sith leathers, she slammed her agiels back against the bears.

She really needed to stop being so mean to perfectly nice drop bears!

Both brothers hit the ground - one bleeding from the mouth. He was going to need a lot of dentistry for sure.

The other scampered over the ground and tried to sink his teeth into Cara's foot.

That was a really good way to match his brother's look, since Cara didn't even use an agiel this time, kicking at the bear's face.

The poor drop bear went soaring across the stage.

Revenge cried his brother - or rather, burbled - and made a rather impressively futile-looking attempt to bite Cara's leg when he didn't actually have many teeth left.

That was just sad.

Didn't stop Cara from trying to send him after his brother.

Apparently, though, this one was really tenacious. And she had a really nice leather outfit. So... would she mind if he tried to grab on to her leg with his claws instead?

As a matter of fact, she rather did, and she still had two agiels with only one drop bear to use them on, so three guesses what she did next.

Well, reflected the drop bear as he lost consciousness, at least he had a chance of leaving a scratch on that pretty leather.

Who was the better sibling now? Who was the true pride of their birth-plane? The Awe of Adelaide? The Scourge of Sydney? The Menace of Melbourne? The heir to the Sky Nibblers That Terrorized The Wak--

...

Alas, poor drop bear. He bled on you.

Yeah, better enemies than the bear had bled on Cara's leathers. She disdainfully nudged the bear away with her foot.
