When the students arrived at the Danger Shop today they would see a most familiar image. That is if they were from Earth and they were in a time period where they've watch the Oscars on TV.

Yep. There was a red carpet, a danger-shopped paparazzi filled with a frenzy to take all of the students pictures.

"Greetings!" Jamie cried out, looking fabulous in a tuxedo, "And welcome to the Fandom Awards! There's clothes and a place to change into something fabulous for the red carpet! But don't take too long or you'll miss the award ceremony!"

"And make sure you've pasted your dresses and tuxes on right!" said Jeff, who looked rather more disorganized in his tux. "Nobody needs a nip slip tonight!" Thank you, Jeff.

"Oh and nobody pose like Angelina Jolie!" Jamie added. "She's got a trademark on it now and she'll probably slap you into next week."

Jamie didn't add that people should look out for a Jamie duplicate wearing a weird military uniform and carrying an urn. That part should probably be implied.

"Don't worry!" Jeff hollered, waving his hands at the paparazzi. "They're not real! No one will be judging your clothes tomorrow!" He sounded an awful lot like that had been said to him repeatedly during the minutes leading up to the class. He also sounded terribly unsure.

"Unless someone gets gremlin bit and thinks they are Joan Rivers," Jamie added. "In the meantime... let the festivities begin!"

But seriously. Don't do the Jolie thing.

Raven supposed her dress wasn't too bad, but she was still a little uncomfortable.

"Welcome back to the red carpet!" Jamie said into a camera carried by a duplicate. "And first up we have the lovely Raven. Raven! Welcome to the Fandom Awards. Are you excited to be nominated? Tell me who you're wearing today."

"Thank you," Raven said, looking at the Jamie and the dupe in some confusion. "I am honored to be nominated?" Yes, it was a question, not a statement.

She looked down at her dress. "I am wearing something I found in the closet." Clearly, that meant it was vintage!

"Well you look fabulous!" Jamie replied

Which meant next week when he was dressed like Joan Rivers he would tear her apart. No offense Raven. Joan/Jamie is a tool.

"And how did you feel when you heard you were nominated?"

"I felt...very surprised?" Raven offered up weakly.

She was never going to understand Jamie or the purpose of this class.

"And I'm sure you were!" Jamie said with a big grin. "Now if you don't mind I think I have to find a bigger celebrity to interview now."

You know Ryan Seacrest has always wanted to say that.

Cara had not gotten changed. Her leathers were perfectly serviceable thank you very much.

Dave put on a tux.

It felt kind of weird. ~~Even if all of his icons did involve him in a suit.~~

"Next up on the carpet is Mr. Dave Nelson! Welcome to the carpet, Dave," Jamie said with a grin as he mugged for the camera. "Can you tell me who you're wearing today?"

"Not really! I grabbed it off the rack without looking at the tags," Dave said cheerfully.

"Well that was a very bold choice for you," Jamie said with a nod.

Bold meaning that Joan Rivers would skewer him on her show whether he looked good or not.

"So tell me Dave, what went through your mind when you heard you were nominated?"

"Well, really, it's just an honor. There are so many deserving people in whatever category I'm in and, you know, they've worked very hard to get where they are today," Dave said, placing his hands in his pockets nervously. "Of course, I think I'm the most deserving, though."

And now she was strutting.

The nice thing about being a guy was that all Billy had to do was find a suit, and he looked okay. At least, he thought he looked okay.

Rilla (http://felicity-jones.org/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/normal_vanityfair_55.jpg) hadn't the faintest idea how she'd gotten a dress (http://felicity-jones.org/gallery/albums/userpics/10001/normal_vanityfair_33.jpg) clearly meant for Raven.

Because honestly. Floor length black leather? Who wears that?

Raven was thoroughly envious. How had she missed that one?

"Your dress is lovely, Rilla," she said. She had to wonder if Jono would like it.

"You like it?" Rilla asked, full of trepidation.

"It is an unusual look for you," Raven had to concede, "but it looks good. It fits you well."

"I feel a bit like a superhero," Rilla confessed.

If superheroes wore floor-length leather ball gowns.

Say what you like about Sam, she at least cleaned up well.

Of course, she was also sneaking bites of rib, when it looked like the paparazzi were distracted.

Juliet wasn't entirely sure she had her dress (http://media.onsugar.com/files/2010/09/39/4/262/2624923/f6b97c3a060e5ed3_Samaire_Armstrong_VF_Guess.jpg) on right. The one-sided cape thing was just weird, but she couldn't figure out what else to do with it.

Still, there was a reason the little black dress was a classic. She figured she could rock it.

Anna couldn't change clothes, so she was still just wearing the same white dress she always did.

Seriously, Jamie and Jeff? You gave Hank the option to pick his own outfit?!?

Well, then, reap what you've sown: his Ratman costume. THE NIGHT IS HIS!
