Trust issues. Good points yesterday, I think today we need to discuss the role trust plays when you are the sender. Do you need to trust the receiver? How about the message? How about...yourself? What happens when a communicator lacks trust in themselves to communicate? Go.

"If I can't see what the person is going to do I don't trust them just on general principle. I think if you want your message to mean something then yeah you have to trust the receiver."

"You have to trust that your recipient isn't going to deliberately twist your meaning. And if you expect them to do something (or not do something or whatever), you have to trust them to do it (or not).
"The message is a product of the sender. The trust comes from the sender, not the actual words themselves.
"If you don't trust yourself to make the message clear, you'll probably keep trying to clarify and ultimately end up just making things worse."
