"One-sixty, one-seventy?" She sighed. "It's Belthazor, you can probably guess his weight better than I can. And he's half-demon, something pretty exotic."
"Belthazor?" asked Janet. She raised an eyebrow. "What's his resistance to medications? Increased endurance? I need to have an idea of what he can do--too much would be as problematic in its own way as too little. And the anesthetic is bound to available in any common clinic."
Parker grimaced. "I don't know, and pretty high, I think. He teleports without effort, and throws fireballs, he can't be low on resistance." She sighed. "Good. Rory was going to scam some from the town clinic for a 'project'."
"This is awfully risky," said Janet. "Too much sedative and he could stop breathing. I don't worry about that with the undead, but for someone living it's a serious problem." She pulled out a sheet of paper and started scribbling out equations, then tore off a section and handed it to Parker. "Here's your totally handwaved amount. Tell Rory to put on her best innocent act. Asking for anesthesia is going to trigger anyone who works in a clinic's suspicions fast."
Parker read it, nodded, and folded up the piece of paper. "Thanks, Fraiser. We don't want to kill him-- although I think a lot of our problems would disappear if we did. But we won't ask anyone to do that. Especially Marty. So... Thanks."
"I wouldn't be giving you this information if I thought you were going to kill him," said Janet. "But let's get him out of the way while we take care of what needs to be done."
