Janet opened up the library and sat quietly behind the Collections Desk, staring at studying her Western Civ notes.

"So do I," Parker said dryly, then grinned. "You... I don't know the word for you, Gilmore."

"Please don't kill her. We'd have to find another library aide if we did," Angela suggests.

"And hi, Parker. Broots called to put our date off last night, did he tell you?"

"No, he didn't. Twerp. Did he say why, or did he just get cold feet?" Parker was still shaking her head at Rory, but didn't seem to be about to commit homicide at the moment.

"He didn't really give a reason," Angela says. "I figure we can talk about it whenever he reschedules."

[OOC: Broots-mun was sick, but I don't know what she wants to say IC.]

"Enh. Hopefully he put a date before his microprocessors." Parker rolled her eyes. "That boy worries me, sometimes."

"I get that. But it's probably easier that he cancelled. I'm not really in a modd to date anyhow, with the party tonight and everything."

"True. I didn't tell him anything about our study group, I didn't need him to get the plans for Angel's part of the study. He hates to know things like that if he doesn't have to." Parker glared at Rory again. "I still want to smother Rory, in spite of coffee, chocolate, amusement and a certain person who doesn't exist in a boyfriend context."

"I was going to ask you that," Angela muses.

"About Broots, I mean. Not about smothering Rory or he-who-shall-not-be-named. I'm staying otu of that one, 'cause life is way nicer when you aren't mad at me."

She pauses and sneaks a glance at Parker. "What did he say after you went down to talk to him, anyhow?"

Parker snorted. "He didn't apologize for the joke, that's for sure. Just for worrying me." She started laughing. "And he had no idea how that serenade came across. God. Such a dork."
