Rory went to the library after ACJ to see it unopened, and raised a brow before hurriedly opening up and taking her place behind the desk.

Parker thought about that, squinted at Angela, then nodded. "It'd look good on you. And you're right, it is a real date, so... go for it." She shook her head. "I will never stop seeing him as the geek I didn't let the other interns mess with, but he should get to date, regardless."

"This isn't just a pity date, though," Angela points out. "I mean, he is a really nice guy. Even if he's kind of a geek."

She plays with a piece of her hair. "I could use a nice guy. Just for the experience."

"A benchmark for comparison." Parker quirked her lips. "He is a nice guy, and Zero had a good time with him at Homecoming. There have been worse dates. You and Belthazor would've qualified, I know that. Hey, how did he take you breaking your date with him?"

"He was fine," Angela says with a shrug. "I think we were right, it was some random impulse he had. I told him about the party, so hopefully that'll keep him busy on Friday, too."

"I hope he doesn't," Angela says quietly.

"I mean, Marty's a good shot, but ... he's still one of the people without powers." She bites her lip. "Which reminds me, does Aeryn being an alien mean anything support should know in terms of the medical stuff?"

"You know-- I'm not sure. I'll ask her, and then email you on that. We wouldn't Aeryn to be the only one winding up with a hangover after the party." Parker made a face at all the euphemisms. "And I hope Marty gets to come to the party afterwards without having to detain Bel as well."

"Yeah, especially if Aeryn got one of those .... really bad hangovers, where you just can't do anything to cure it," Angela says, wincing at herself. She'd forgotten to use euphemisms. Damn.
