Since Parker told me I could couldn't seem to get her act together, Marty opened up the gun range and did a once-over the weapons locker to make sure that everything was in order.

He then made sure that the safety rules were up:

SAFETY RULES:

· TREAT ALL GUNS AS IF THEY WERE LOADED

· KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL READY TO FIRE

· BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT’S BEYOND

· ALWAYS WEAR HEARING AND EYE PROTECTION

· NEVER USE ALCOHOL OR DRUGS BEFORE OR WHILE SHOOTING.

· CHECK IN ALL WEAPONS BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE RANGE.

Breaking any of these rules means an immediate visit with Mr. Smith, or the guy with the funny hat.

Pippi set up at a range and went about cleaning the barrel, frizzen, and pan of her flintlock.

She also put a new bit of flint in the dog, all the while humming what sounds like "Blow the Man Down".

After her chat with Parker about the picadillos of using flintlocks at range (http://community.livejournal.com/fandomhigh/572005.html?thread=27080805#t27080805), Pippi procedes to shoot a happy face into the target.
