Dr. Pierson's Office Hours

Perhaps foolishly, Methos made his way through the thickening snow to attend his office hours.

Coffee is appreciated.

Janet had gotten tired of the sight of her dorm room. And she was bored. So she'd finally gotten out of bed, grimaced at the pain in her ribs, and gotten dressed in several layers of clothing to head over to her TA meeting with Methos.

"Why the hell did you bother coming in today?" she asked, closing the door of his office behind her.

"They're bruised ribs," said Janet, rolling her eyes at him. "Not that you asked when I dropped off my excuse note to you. I've been bandaged up, I haven't jostled myself, and I'm going absolutely stir-crazy." She shrugged. "So I thought I'd drop by and see how you were doing."

"Incredibly boring," said Janet. "We're having exams already? Do you want me to organize a review session next week?" It wasn't as if she hadn't gone through the extra reading and the regular reading, after all.

NFB

"Lunch hour or after school hours?" asked Janet. "I'd rather go for after school hours, just in case we take longer than an hour." She looked puzzled. "Of course you can ask me a question. What?" NFB away! *points to new subject line*

"Do you think there's a chance that the school will get snowed in?" Elizabeth asked, half-knocking on the door.

[identity profile] notcalledlizzie.livejournal.com 2006-01-27 07:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Elizabeth nodded. "I'm sure we would be," she said. "But it would be a pain all the same."

Janet waved at Liz. "I know why I'm here," she said. "Because I couldn't stay in the room one minute longer. You're just nuts, Liz."

She shrugged, and grinned. "I was in the building all ready for all the things I listed to you earlier," she said.

"I still think you're nuts," said Janet. She shook her head and smiled. "Are you done after this? We could head back to the dorms together."

For some reason, the Doctor doesn't mind the snow. At all.

Even though he doesn't have to be in school today, he romps up to the humanities wing with a large takeaway tray of coffee, and begins to distribute it to his favourite coworkers. Methos' office just happens to be the first.

At least he knocks.

"Hello, Adam." Ten practically bounces into his office and waves a large cup of coffee under his nose.

Ten promptly flips him off, Brit-style, and sits down without being asked. "I think you have. Does the bearer of the coffee get any of that passionate love, or is that just reserved for the beans?"

After everyone

She comes in with the remnants of her mocha and leans against the doorjamb.

"Busy, Adam?"

Stepping inside, she sets her cup on his desk and flops down in a chair.

"You should thank me, you know. You I spared from the horror of me this past me."

"Oh, I can't imagine he called me that. Between the sugar and the hyper and the crushing depression...not a stellar week. I think I drove his teen-boy brain completely crazy." She leans forward with a sly grin, "But I did take pictures if you want to see what you missed."
