Ten promptly flips him off, Brit-style, and sits down without being asked. "I think you have. Does the bearer of the coffee get any of that passionate love, or is that just reserved for the beans?"

Methos grins at him, leans across his desk, and grabs him by the ears which is not as easy as it would have been in the Doctor's previous incarnation and kisses him soundly. "That answer your question? So, when did the mini-me reverse?" Methos still doesn't listen to the radio.

Smirking a little after the kiss, and rubbing his ears a little, Ten settles back into the chair. "Do that again and it'll make up for the trek through the snow balancing your precious coffee. And maybe answer my question. ...And before you ask, no, I can't ever get enough, thank you." He cocks an eyebrow. "Woke up good as new yesterday morning."

There might be a hint of a blush on his cheeks as he mentions it. Maybe.

"It's always good to get the blood moving," Methos agrees, sipping his coffee. "Did you? That's a shame. I was going to give you some chores around the apartment. Seemed the appropriate thing for a teenager to do."

"Now you do sound like an old man," Ten states, leaning elbows onto Methos' desk and watching him. "What kinds of chores?"

Thank god the hormones have settled, or he wouldn't be able to resist a dirty joke.

"Oh, you know, raking the grass... although not in this weather," Methos adds with a gesture out to the snow falling outside his window. "Polishing knobs. That sort of thing."

"Got a lot of fingerprints on those, then?" Ten is just barely deadpan. Barely. He's totally smirking.

Methos sips his coffee and chuckles. "Well, what with the roommate and all. Neither one of us is really interested in housecleaning."

"Roommate? Now that's news," Ten drawls. "Crimps your bachelor boy lifestyle."

Methos nods. "The new psych teacher. She was living somewhere dreadful and it occured to me that the apartment has three bedrooms. So I offered her space. The building's filling up again. And... donn't call me crazy, but I think we've got a new landlord. One with... peculiar features."

"There's not enough places to live in this town. And you're already mad, so I believe you."

"We're all mad here," Methos said with a flashing grin. "And I mean... *really* peculiar. His ears sort of..." Methos lifted his hands and waved them around in a rather platter-like fashion. "And he's got brow ridges like you wouldn't believe."

Ten cocks his head and tries to think of all of the different aliens he knows of...coming up short. "Huh. Interesting."

"I'll say. If you had asked me six months ago, I would have said the concept of aliens was preposterous."

"Says the oldest man on the planet?" Ten slouches in the chair, legs spread.

Methos grins. "Well, that's been normal for... at least five thousand years."

Brows go up and dark eyes focus on Methos' own. "Fuck normal," he says, and grins right back at him.
