Fandom Hightimes Meeting - 4PM FHT (In the Journalism room)

Chloe taps away at her laptop as she makes sure everything is set up. Issues of the paper from last semester for the newbies? Check. Coffee? Check. Food from Jeff, God of Biscuits? Check.

Now all she needs are other people.

[I apologize for how late this is going up. Also, there are no OCD threads, because I'm a rebel like that. *g*]

"Hey, Chlo'," Veronica said, walking in and grabbing a seat. "This meeting isn't going to be long, is it? I have an I-Club meeting at 7."

"This shouldn't take too long. I'm hoping to just get an idea of what people might want to do, and start sucking the new folks in before they can run away in fear." There may have been a slight hint of seriousness in that last part."

"I'll do whatever you need me to do, up to and including dragging your ass out of this room occasionally," Veronica said with a grin.

Angela grabs a cookie and some coffee and flops onto the couch.

"...and so it begins again," she says. "Think you'll be out of the newspaper office before May, Chloe?"

Chloe snickered. "You know, some people would be ecstatic at having something they love as much as I love to do this. I'm sure I'll emerge occassionally. I do have to go to class, after all."

"Class AND student council. Congrats on that, by the way. You'll be everywhere."

She grins, but looks a little more serious as she says, "It's definitely cool to have something you love to do."

Victor made his way to the Journalism room and walke din.

"Hey, is this the newspaper thing?"

"It is indeed the newspaper thing. I'm Chloe," she said, holding out her hand. "And you are?"

"Cool. I'm Victor Borkowski." he said, moving his camcorder out of the way so he could shake her hand.

"Hey Chloe! Count me in for the shipping column and advice again. V said she'll help since beka bailed."

"Great!" Chloe beamed at Phoebe. "That's one less thing for me to worry about. Thank you!"

Phoebe smiled faintly at her friend. "Anytime."

Veronica walked over to Phoebe. "I got your text messages. I figured you were mad at me. Your sister is."

"I just wish I didn't have to find out like that," she said softly to Veronica. "Logan...it was like he was trying to hurt me because of what Cole did to you."

Angela shot a concerned glance at Phoebe. "Are you feeling any better?"

Phoebe shakes her head. "Trying, though."

Peter Parker padded ponderously to the paper. Well, here he was. He took a cookie and a seat.

"Hi there," Chloe said. "You're...Peter? I think I saw you at Student Council, maybe."

Angela waved to Peter. "Hey! Are you a writer-type-person?"

Alanna came in, apparently in the middle of a debate with Faithful. "But I don't want announcements about my private life to be broadcasted on the school P.A. system!"

Chloe snickered softly as she couldn't help but overhear. "I think most people would agree with you there."

Rory wandered in, taking a seat on the couch.

"Hello!" she called happily.

"Hey, Rorita!" Angela calls. "So guess what happened today?"

"Rory! I'm so glad to see you." Chloe mentally checked another loyal minion off of the list. This was very good.

Peter waved to Rory. He really hoped she wasn't going to ask him for the whole explanation about the park tonight, so waving was all he was going to do unless she approached him.
