For some odd reason reason, the psychologist's phone number flashes through his mind again. He took a deep breath. "Wouldyouliketogoouttodinnerwithme?"

"Sure?" Angela says. "I mean, if you want to. Parker said she owed you one, and I'm up for whatever."

"Squeak." Kill. Parker. Broots cleared his throat. "Um, Thursday? Next, not today?"

"Sure. I have newspaper, but I'm free after that," Angela says, pushing a piece of hair behind her ear. "Meet me in the dorm lobby?"

She's trying to look entirely happy. it would help if he quit squeaking.

"Not really," she says, then reconsiders. "I know Parker said she'd pay, but is something low-key all right with you? Deb's or Luke's or the NPC Chinese place? Just so things aren't, like, entirely weird."

"I heard the NPC Chinese place is good." Broots nodded and made a very large note to at least try to yell at Miss Parker. Not like he'd do it.
