Rory sat behind the desk reading On the Road and not at all thinking of anyone because of it.

Feel free to bug her for all your library aide needs.

No Rory, sadly. She's off TA-ing importantly. Perhaps another aide or the Librarian can help you?

Rory's back, and back to reading and sipping her coffee. But you can interrupt her if you must.

Rory's actually doing something resembling work - she's looking through books that need to be reshelved.

Nope, not here again. She's off in Campaigning ~~and sucking up to her new favorite teacher, zomg~~.

Angela's there. She sips on her coffee and glares around the library. Not because she's angry, simply because it's early.

~~[ooc: You can have him as long as I get to bring him coffee and talk college with him? He doesn't have a mountie hat or smart doctor glasses, after all]~~

"Hey, Rory!" Lee says brightly. "I have an offering of my eternal love and affection for all you do here," he says with a mocking grin as he hands her his homemade cupcakes with ~~pink~~ coral-colored icing.

"Ooh! Cupcakes!" Rory said gleefully, helping herself to one. "Thank you, Lee. That's very sweet of you. Pun intended."

He smirks back. "You doing okay?" he asks.

"I'm fine," Rory nodded. She scanned Lee's face carefully. "And you?"

"Keeping busy," he replies simply. "Crazy about what's going on in town, isn't it?"

"Oh yeah," Rory nodded. "Vala got hurt pretty bad, didn't she? And apparently my evil twin tried to kill Bridge, Peter and Cal."

"That's just insane," Lee mutters. "Parents might start taking their kids out of ~~Hogwarts~~ Fandom if this continues."

Lee really hopes that his father doesn't do this. Reallyreallyreally hopes.

"If the parents know, that is," Rory replied. "I mean, mine do. But they sort of live here." She shrugged. "And I think it's probably going to get better."

Archie comes in after Advanced Criminal Justice looking slightly preoccupied, and smiles at Rory. "You know, I suddenly realized that I'm not sure I ever got a library card, and after Driver's Education yesterday I think I might need it."

"You're in Driver's Ed?" Rory asked, blinking. "Okay, hang on."

She pulled out one of the forms, and handed it to Archie. "Blue or black ink. And we need your name, grade, room number and please don't put that you're the Chosen One, since I know you aren't and it'll make Janet cranky."

"Yes, Driver's Ed. Ridiculous, isn't it? But I needed a third class, and it was available, so there you are. The rest of my classmates terrify me, though. Oh, they're nice enough, but one started talking about something called jet fuel, one of them flies space ships, and another one offered to introduce me to what sounds like his sentient tank." Archie looks over the form. "Nobody ever informed me about being any kind of Chosen One, anyway. Er . . . do you have a pen?"

"Hope springs eternal," he says, shrugging. "Anyway, I won't keep you. Just wanted to pass along a little confectionary goodness."
