"Lucky me," Rory sighed dramatically. "So, what, Professor Skeeter didn't believe you even though you had the book?"

Anakin rolled his eyes. "No. Something about how just because I can't act on them doesn't mean I don't have impulses."

He snorted. "And I have absolutely no interest in talking to her about any impulses I might have, thanks."

Rory quirked a brow. "Yeah, probably a good idea to not talk to her about any impulses, considering." She smiled. "I'm still trying to get her to let up on the nickname."

Anakin glared. "Yeah, she brought that up as an example in our class, too. When I said that saying something without proof means that it wouldn't stick."

He winced. "Sometimes I'm kind of an idiot."

"She has a point," Rory said grudgingly. "I mean, idiots are going to believe what they believe. So I'm sure there are people out there who actually do think 'Whorey' is accurate, though I don't think I've met any of them."

Anakin clenched his teeth together. "I know I've never met any of them," he said. He blew out a breath. "Okay, really leaving now. Have fun sorting things!"
