The Tick was behind his desk again, looking rather more rested. Lockheed was back on his usual spot on the bookshelf. ~~And the mun was rushing this class liek whoa!~~

"Hello, class! A quick announcement before we get started today. There will be a quiz next Thursday. It won't be much to worry about and it won't be heavy on details from the class thus far. It will just check your ability to reason things out in the name of Justice!"

"Today we will be looking at the flip-side of Tuesday's topic. Where there are heroes fighting for Justice, there must be villains working against it."

"Today I would like you to tell me about a villain or a villainous group from back home. If you will, please discuss with the class what he, she, or it did to get labeled as so darn villainous and whether or not they have been brought to Justice yet!"

"And if the discussion goes well today, I may even share a story about one of my arch-fiends ~~when the mun gets home from work so be sure to check back in~~ at the end of class. It'll be the story of a guy with a chair for a head. Come on, you know you want to hear about him!"

"Please discuss!"

"Before I answer this question, I have uh. An announcement to make." Parker's voice is utterly flat as she stands up.

"I love Principal Smith." She paused. "Right." She sat down, looking llike she wanted to kill someone.

"Evildoers from home." Parker muttered, then said, "Kyle. Creepy kid like Marty's bully. He tried to break my wrist once when all I was doing was trying to help him pick up some stuff he'd dropped. I think he set a fire at a... complex, a couple years later. He disappeared and no one's seen him since."

Veronica gave Parker a weird look and wondered if she'd been bitten by a gremlin or something.

Parker gave her a half-hearted glare, then rolled her eyes and started stabbing her pen into her desk, a la Aeryn and Cameron.

Marty once again mourned the destruction of another pen.

Sam bit back a grin.

So, is the love for Smith a recent development, or have you been pining for him all semester?

Better be careful. I hear that ninja's dangerous.

I think it depends on who you're killing. Professor Tick might be okay with villains being dead.

Parker had to grimace at this. Damnit. Carter was right. Harvard only let in known killers if they'd won a Nobel or Pulitzer on top of it.

Jaye wonders if she should make a flag.

If she did, Parker would have to turn her over to Miho.

Parker would love to hear about it, after she's done dying of embarassment.

After that announcement, Archie is never kissing Parker again.

Parker would be very sad about this, if she knew. Then again, she'd also tell Archie she was under duress, and needed comfort.

"But I thought he loved a ninja...." Rory mused.

"He probably does," Parker muttered. "Whatever."

"Principal Smith has done a good job indeed, Parker," Tick said. "He deserves some praise, yes."

"As for this Kyle kid, that is troubling. But I have faith that Justice will be served in time."

Parker nodded stiffly on the comment about Principal Smith then said, "Yeah, well. I don't have as much faith that it'll happen on its own. He had all the makings of SuperVillain, sir. I just hope there's a Superhero out there willing to take him on. Or out."

"Good and Evil usually find a balance. If there's somebody that evil running around, he will surely encounter an equal force of good. It's just the way things go!"

"Here's hoping it's sooner than later though."
