Anakin sighed. "Fine. Rumor among the Padawans was that this Master had thousands of datapads full of porn. Some of it stuff that was banned on different worlds for its, um, content." He grinned. "None of us were crazy enough to try to sneak past his security system to find out."

Rory stared, confused.

"But you guys aren't sup - oh, I guess you could...oh."

She blushed harder than she remembered ever blushing before. Ever. Seriously.

"So anyway. Yes, there is porn in SC. There might even be some like the stuff you're talking about. But you're not allowed to go look at it. I've just decided that."

Anakin suddenly found the carpet in the library absolutely fascinating.

He stared at it for a long time.

"Got it. No asking Professor Skeeter for a note to look at porn." He shuddered. "Why did I have to give myself that mental image?"

He finally looked up. "So, the book checked out yet?"

"It's better than last week, when whatsherface British girl on the radio gave us a worse image," Rory said, making a face. She peered at him. "No protesting on me being bossy? Seriously? That's kind of awesome."

She smiled. "And no, it's not checked out yet. I still need your card."

Anakin grimaced. "Yeah, that was an image that's gonna haunt me for a while." He reached into one of the compartments on his belt and pulled out his library card.

He handed it to Rory with a smile. "Here you go. And you can boss me around, but only on, um, every other Tuesday."

"Woe. What happens if I do it outside that restriction?" Rory asked with a grin as she took down the info.

"Then, um, I don't have to listen to you." He wondered if maybe this could work with Obi-Wan, too.

He had a feeling that he was not going to have much luck with eitehr one of them.

"Uh huh," Rory said skeptically. "I'm going to test this out at the next opportunity. I mean, what if I tell you to do something fun?"

She kept her tone carefully innocent, and handed the book and his card back to Anakin with a sweet smile.

Her eyes were a bit mischievous, though.

"Well, if it's something I want to do, that's different," he said, his eyes twinkling back at her.

"Thanks for the tour," he said, putting his library card away. "Due back in two weeks, or are there different rules for Special Collections?"

"Two weeks, though since it's SC, try to have it back tomorrow maybe?" Rory guessed. "That's when the class is, right?"

"Yeah, I know everything that's in the book," he said with a cocky grin. "It's just to prove a point, really." He took the book. "See you tomorrow then?"
